The Rip

The Rip

“Susan and I go to the cove at low. You two pack clothes—dry ones—no toiletries. Nothing that needs water. We meet at the shack in an hour.” Nick nodded, numb. Rachel squeezed his hand. Susan reached for the dish rack, then thought better of it. She grabbed the salt shaker holding down the map and twisted the cap off, poured a crisp white ring around the sink, tight and unbroken. “If anyone touches this, they answer to me.” She looked up at Nick. “You see it now?” He glanced at the wire darkening over the drain, at the pellets smoldering like spent stars, at the letters half-formed inside his skull that would never quite go away. He swallowed.

Adopted By The Werewolves

Adopted By The Werewolves

"Hang on, I forgot my phone," Brent says and walks up the stairs to his room. When he enters, he notices a paper airplane lying in the middle of the room. It seemed like someone had thrown it in from the window which was slightly open. They must have had a very good aim to get it through the small space. He picks it up and notices some handwritten letters. He unfolds it and sees a small message in flowery writing. I have the answers to what you are looking for. Meet me at the small shack off the road that leads out of Byfall county towards Mormon street. Today, at 6 pm.

His Shackled Lawyer

His Shackled Lawyer

"That's your problem. Don't ask me. You should have thought of it earlier before pressing someone's weak nerve." "I didn't expect such drastic turnover." "Congratulations to you Anirudh. Now, tell me where the other body is? Don't tell me you need a death certificate too? Or you have already vanished?" Shivay gave a weird smirk to Anirudh as he was well aware of his friend's character. "Basement. I didn't burn it till now. Wanted to send it in a gift wrap." Anirudh escorted him downstairs while speaking casually. "Dickhead. Enough of this Anirudh. Get married and stop this." Shivay tapped on his shoulder while leaving his mansion.

Lunarcrossed

I’m aware that CeCe clings to his back like a little monkey, and that brings me some peace. Morning has come by the time we stop again. The sunlight peeks above the trees and warms my face. I’m half-conscious when he kicks down the door of a shack deep in the swamplands. The type used by trappers and gator hunters; I think. It hasn’t been used in a long time and dust and rot now claim it. Broken furniture scattered on the floor, as well as animal droppings, and old tin cans. A rusted chain, rope, and what I think is a bear trap have also been left behind.

A Ruthless Revenge: the Billionaire's Ex Wife Is Back

A Ruthless Revenge: the Billionaire's Ex Wife Is Back

“It’s a character flaw.” She sighed, already defeated. “Fine. But don’t get any ideas.” “I left my ideas in the truck,” I said, grabbing my gloves. “Right next to my dignity.” That earned me another eye roll, but she tossed me the spare flashlight anyway. The shed sat at the edge of the property, half-hidden by trees and stubbornly refusing to acknowledge modern civilization. It stored backup generators, emergency fuel, and the kind of tools you only remembered existed when everything went wrong. Which felt… relevant.

Reaper's Ride: A Dark Biker Romance

Reaper's Ride: A Dark Biker Romance

I stayed. One night, after Caleb left on yet another late errand, I found it: a yellowed paper taped under a drawer in his study. With trembling fingers I unfolded it. Scribbled in hurried ink were words I’d hate forever: “Warehouse 12, Redwood Drive – midnight, all meat ready for transporting.” Below it, a single key was taped under the wood. My pulse thundered. A secret warehouse. Meat was what they called people I couldn't believe it, surely Caleb couldn't do something so horrible.

Billionaire's Accidental Wife

Billionaire's Accidental Wife

***** An hour later, the skin on Shawn’s wrists stung from the plastic zip ties digging in, rubbing the flesh raw in seconds. Elizabeth Grunt’s men shoved him down the last two steps, and he stumbled forward into a cool, dry chamber. He tripped in the darkness, lost his footing, and crashed hard onto the floor, his shoulder hitting with a painful thud. He was lucky that he didn’t hit his head or face. Still, he grimaced from the impact. Dirt, definitely dirt and dust, or worse, ancient bones.

I'm almost done with book 1 and all I can say is you need to read this, what u see in the first few chapters were just snacks, the real thing is when Catherine and Shawn's adventures started to look for his grandfather's treasures. It was like full of twist and your learn alot from this.

her responded "You're actually making me nervous mum.." Mrs Pence said looking away "I hope she forgets about him for now..and heal herself" Mrs Pence said still looking away. "What is Mr Scott doing about this case?" Her mum asked "He has the Gauran in control of it..with Mrs Harriete by his side" Mrs Pence replied "What a traitor. She'll really put her family in danger for this!" her mum said in a mockery "She doesn't have a choice since her secrets are in the head of Guarans' hand and we all know about that" Mrs Pence replied

Knock! Knock! Death On Your Doorstep

Shane replied in annoyance. Mara's forehead creased. "Then will you stop clinging onto my shirt, please?" Shane let go of the hem of Mara's shirt and then looked away. Mara can't helo but think how cute Shane was and how much of a kid he is. Well, she guess Shane never really tried to become just a child and live as carefree as a kid should be. "Let's go," Mara whispered. Shane followed her. They sneaked into a small room which they guess a storag room or maybe the janitor's closet since tons of cleaning materials are also stored inside besides the boxes of buscuits. Though, it id possible that those boxes doesn't carry biscuits anymore.

Stuck Between Two Alphas

Stuck Between Two Alphas

He thought. She couldn't fool him. He knew she was always up to mischief. Arriving at the designated place the anonymous person had described. The direction led to an abandoned shack in the forest. Nobody lived there. He was told to come alone. When he got there, he entered the shack. A rat ran past him. He sneezed. Dust had covered the shack. His wolf wasn't at ease. He waited over an hour, no one came. He walked around the shack, inspecting it. It looked like it was previously a resting place for sojourners. The bed was crooked he observed. It creaked loudly when he mistakenly touched it.
