Mysteries Next Door

Mysteries Next Door

As I listened to the news anchor's report, I could not help but think there was some truth to the saying that after the storm is when the flowers bloomed. When did I start getting suspicious of Vonn and his crew? Oh, right. It was after I handed over $15,000 to some dude claiming to be Vonn's ex. The more I mulled it over, the more things did not add up. I headed to the police station to share my suspicions. I thought they would laugh me off, but boy, was I in for a surprise. It turned out there had been a string of killings in town, and all the victims were rich, bachelor types living alone.

Lycan's Redemption: Captive to Lover

However, it wasn't long before Griffin broke the quietude. "Can you tell me how and where you found Olive?" he asked Aaron. Upon hearing Griffin's question, I held my breath. Griffin must have been shocked when he returned to the cabin and discovered that I was gone. Additionally, there were three deceased rogues on the path. He must have been extremely concerned. “I traced her scent,” Aaron answered, which got me curious. I also did not have the chance to ask him how the hell did he find me in the middle of the forest. Subconsciously, I stared at Aaron, eager to hear more.

Devin jumped in after her, slamming the door shut. Koji’s voice crackled over the radio. “Coordinates locked on Naelle’s last heat signature. Grove perimeter—south trail.” Devin checked his weapon. “You sure she’s there?” “No,” Koji replied. “But whatever she released… I’ve never seen readings like this. It’s her.” Yuri glanced at him. “Are you ready for what we might find?” He looked at her, serious. “Are you?” She didn’t answer. Forest Grove – 3:12 A.M.

His accident, that sudden skid on a slick road, left me shattered, piecing together why the Blackwoods couldn't have nice things without paying a price. A sign flickered by: Greystone Cemetery – 15 Miles. It had been almost a year since I had threaded this path. My grip tightened on the wheel, the roses on the passenger seat a vivid reminder of why I was here. Ethan’s gesture, sweet as it was, felt misplaced now; these flowers belonged to Shay, a loving memory from one chapter to honor another. The road dipped into the valley, the landscape shifting to denser woods, trees crowding in like silent witnesses. Old farms appeared sporadically, their fences sagging, silos standing tall against the

Why would she suffer the desires of all these men. I really hope Lila Voss discovers herself that they truly do not love her, I hope she finds herself and conquers their dark secrets and such an evil plotting step mother and her deadly curse. She truly deserves victory to be queen.
Collins Piate
What a beautifully crafted story, it looks so real. The plot is great. I thought it was only men that get robbed of love by several lovers. But, I like her spirit in the end, despite her loss. She stood her place to start life afresh regardless. This is a must read, read to the end you will love it.

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Logan further pressed as he looked at Levy who smiled and said, “ I do not have any idea but for the time being I think the answer to my questions lies in that grave.” The two of them drove back to the territory and by the time they reached the cemetery where Mavis’s mother was laid at rest it was already past midnight, as Logan placed his feet on the brakes, and turned the headlights off of his SUV, Levy slid down out of the car and looked at the entrance of the graveyard. The sound of crickets chirping behind the wild bushes and the grass rustling under their feet echoed all over the place and just like Levy had expected there was no one lurking around or even near this graveyard.

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story

I was about to walk out of the detectives' lounge when I heard Oliver's voice. "Grayson can stay here. I'm coming with you." I was confused, but when I looked at Grayson, he just nodded at me. --------------------------- Miller Valley is at the western part of the country, a day's drive from Burton Grove. Oliver and I have a long way ahead of us. The moment we both got into the car, the tension was already thick. None of us uttered a word, but I know that we both feel awkward being in the same car.

The Full Moon Murders

The Full Moon Murders

The reports whispered through back channels, the files half-burned before anyone could read them, all said the same thing: whatever Ashgrove had been experimenting with was no longer contained. “Show yourself,” Mason muttered, voice steady, though the weight of the shadows pressed on him like iron. The growl stopped. Then came a sound worse than silence: a dragging inhale, wet and animal, pulling him into the dark. His finger brushed the trigger, but before he could fire, something slammed into him from the side. He hit the ground hard, the pistol skittering across dead leaves. Claws raked the soil beside his throat, missing flesh by inches. He rolled, forcing his body under the crushing wei

Claimed by my Sister's Fiancé

Claimed by my Sister's Fiancé

I put both of them to bed that night in the flat above my own office, the one small luxury I'd allowed myself once Hart Exports started turning real profit, and then I sat alone at the kitchen table with the note and the sprig of herb in front of me. The second bottle. Greta had only ever shown me one. If there was a second, it meant someone else had known, someone still alive, someone with enough proof to send it to my desk anonymously rather than bury it forever. Which meant someone inside Ashgrove, or close to it, wanted me digging into my mother's death badly enough to risk being caught helping me. I thought of every Ashgrove proposal I'd turned down out of pure stubborn pride, and wonde

Soup Shop Mystery

A moment later, a piece of paper slid through the narrow gap beneath my door. The footsteps retreated in haste. I peered through the peephole. The hallway was empty. I didn't touch the note, afraid of smudging fingerprints. Instead, I crouched and read the words on it: I know the truth about Edmund's death. Come to the big banyan tree in Greenfield Residences at 11 p.m. Don't call the police. The note was crafted with meticulous care—letters cut out from newspapers and books, pieced together like a ransom demand, leaving no trace of handwriting.
