I murmur with confusion at his terms. "The night the moon sleeps and the stars hide whilst the sky thunders with a wrath is the chosen day the beast shall emerge to claim what is his." "What are you saying, Cronus?" "It is quite simple, Theia. It means something is coming." ~~~ A/N Hello, my little wolves, Hope you enjoyed this chappy! I pass the axolytol pool, glowing in the moonlight with all the different colors of the animals sleeping in the pond. As I get deeper into the woods, I hear more shuffling sounds, startled animals bolting away from me. We have deer here, similar to humans, but our deer are more majestic. The leader of our herd is the Ceryneian Hind, the deer of the humans’ Greek mythology. She has antlers of gold and hooves of brass. Her coat is a dappled color and she is fast, faster than almost any animal in our forest, with the notable exception of Dominic, our resident Alpha werewolf and Lucero, the only Unicorn in existence. She is known to the elven community as GoldMoon.

Ancient paintings, mostly painted by famous artists, were hung in strategic places, and in the corner of the room stood a large sculpture of Lycaon, the King of Arcadia and the father of werewolves - at least as far as Greek Mythology went. “Do we have to greet him now?” I asked, my stomach tightening with nervousness once again. “We can’t put it off. I can’t risk giving Viktor any extra ammunition against me,” Vasilios replied solemnly. “Arg, your father is probably going to rip my head off for disappearing in the first place,” I sighed and Vasilios put his arm around my shoulder comfortingly. Nyktimos was Lykaon’s youngest son and had been saved from Zeus’s wrath by Gaia, who hid him in the river. She should have been smart enough to hide him from Lykaon, who was now bitter and still irritated at having lost his reign as king of Arcadia and was now relegated to walking around on all fours howling at the moon.” Elaina paused when she noticed how intently he was staring at her and noticed the quick warmth spreading throughout her body as a result.

I want a unicorn. *Silence* "What!?" Unicorn!? (What the fuck? Unicorn? Are you damm serious, woman!?) (But it's what I wanted! Isn't this a survey? Why are you complaining? I love unicorns and Pegasus. What's wrong with that?) Even a freaking Pegasus!? God, this is all Greek Mythology's fault. Those fictions are making her believe in non-existing shits! Well, Hades and Persephone are the exceptions.

Thorne pointed out, "but it's like having another identity with memories and a life of its own. My hound allows me to see his memories at times. I know that he was a guard of Tartarus." At this, Julian's head whipped in Thorne's direction with interest, "As in the prison of the underworld mentioned in Greek Mythology?" Thorne nodded, "You'd be surprised how many myths actually hold some facts to them. The place is reserved for the supernaturals that are the worst of the worst."

There was a story here the anthropologist in him itched to uncover for more reasons than one. Lingering in his vehicle, Jim watched as Teri drew the blinds in the RV’s bedroom, her seductive silhouette against them a succubus’ envy. When the last lights in the RV were extinguished, he started his Jeep, only turning on the headlights when he reached the highway. As he drove home, he recalled a long-forgotten story from Plato. In Greek mythology, humans originally had four arms, four legs and a head with two faces. Jealous of their happiness and petty in the way Greek gods were, Zeus split them into two distinct parts, and condemned them to spend their lives lonely, in search of their missing

It felt a perfect fit and he had slept every night holding her in that position, nestled together. Felix also taught Athena further on Roman and Greek mythology, including pointing out the different types of nymphs that were sneakily hidden in and amongst the mosaics depicting friendly woodland scenes. These were beings who lived to tease and manipulate humans and gods, sometimes falling in love with them, sometimes chasing them to the ends of the earth to capture the man they wanted.

His voice was distant, as if he were putting together a puzzle in his mind. - AND...? — Aspen expressed the question that was also in my head. — In Greek mythology, Rhea and Cronnos are the Titans who created the world. My eyes widened in surprise. — You mean Chloe and Aaron are…. — Aspen asked, excited. — It's just a theory, but it is known that wolves can only mate with another whose wolf name connects with theirs in Greek mythology.
