"Wow, they really are the same color" she said in surprise. "Though it's weird though, Cora's eyes used to be greyish-blue like... " " Yours right?" Anna interjected, taking Athena by surprise.

A few months later, Sarah gave birth to a healthy baby boy. As time passed, Sarah found herself immersed in the joys and challenges of motherhood. Her beautiful baby boy, Adam, brought immense happiness into her life with his golden skin and curly hair. Yet, it was his eyes that captivated her the most—a striking shade of steel grey, inherited from his father. When we experience extreme emotions, our eyes will change colour. The colour depends on the emotion. You just saw what causes green. For happiness, they don’t seem to change, but for anger, it’s dark grey with swirls of black and, for depression, ice blue. Found both of those out when I lost my parents.”

You may not see the green and gold in them, but I do. They turn this bright green when you get pissed or scared. Or they soften to gold when you're… let's say happy," He ended in a wink that told me what he really meant by that.

I saw myself at the edge of nowhere beneath a very odd tree. White leaves were falling from it that gave me an eerie sensation. I was like inside a 90's television. Everything was in black and white. My gaze landed on the guy beside me. At that moment, I realized that I was not alone. Everything has no color except me and him. It felt weird especially when he touched my cheek softly and I felt the warmth of his hand. I was lying on the grass with him, captivated by his peculiar eyes. Those pair of eyes were green as emerald stones, fascinating and deep as if it can pierce through my soul. I can’t take my eyes off him.

" My brows arched in a frown. "And then they had their first child together, Green. The name Green wasn't just a random name they gave to your mate. It was because she was unique. Even if my eyes were open, I could still see her vividly. I arranged my pallet until everything was set, the only thing left to do is to get the brush and strike it in different ways to present her perfectly. White, Yellow Ochre, and Cadmium Red were inviting me, just by looking at them I knew I'd get her complexion seamlessly. Her skin is fair and glossy, like white sand radiating under the heat of the afternoon sun, or almonds blanched and then peeled. I'll add Cerulean for her blush.
