Hybrid Warrior - A Survivor's Story

Hybrid Warrior - A Survivor's Story

Joy sparked flames at my fingertips when I wasn’t careful. Maddox quickly learned to read my eyes. A faint red glow meant it was time to back off before I accidentally set him on fire. Blue meant water, white meant air, green meant earth. I would often look down, trying to hide the glow - and sometimes, as payback for his teasing, I’d fire a little spark at him, earning a growl and a grin in return.

My stepbrother and his friends want me

My stepbrother and his friends want me

“You’re going to give me one before I touch you.” I swallowed. “Red.” “And colors. Green means you’re good. Yellow means slow down or ease up. Red stops everything. No questions, no anger. You use them. Understand?” “Yes.” “Say it back.” “Green means good. Yellow means slow down. Red stops everything.” He nodded once. “Good girl.” Then he moved.

Love or Live

Love or Live

Rows of lockers on both sides of the long corridor thinned out of my view as I raced with feet hastier than Iris', the goddess of the rainbow, swift-footed messenger of the gods. Their colours fizzled out - Magenta, hue of a perfect green lawn, a spotless blue sky and the golden shade of the sun.

But I definitely did not eye-rape him. "I am so sorry." I mumbled. Is the universe against me or something? "I wasn't looking and-" Okay, maybe I did a little bit of eye-raping. I mean, who could blame me? He's gorgeous. He has sandy blonde hair with some brown highlights. His face is just... pure perfection. Then I realised something that made me frown. Something that made memories of him come back. His eyes were a shade of forest green. Forest freaking green. Ashton. Oh god. I'm not even kidding, I am going to cry.

Azian (Prince of Dragons)

I was finding it hard to breathe, knowing who exactly I was going to face in the next few seconds. Gulping softly, I glanced over at him, his eyes gentle and yet seemed to be a different color under this lighting I presumed as was walking by a street light, they almost seemed gold but then again a sort of green? I couldn’t quite understand the funny shade of his colors under this lighting. Maybe he was wearing contacts? I always wondered how he could see so well with a shade of blue eyes that mimicked that of an ocean beside a coral reef.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love the characters and how well you have them interact with each other. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much when reading a book. Even though I had an inkling on where the story might go, I preferred to follow along with your storytelling instead.

GREEN

GREEN

Its leave-less branches is bent in a way that provides some kind of shade on a big hole in the ground. I squint my eyes to help clear my vision and move slowly towards the hole and that's when I see it too. ********************************

, he grumbled. Bartimaeus hummed, "I couldn't say. Most leaders shine red, and the gifted lot that masters it in six months usually shine with a soft silver color", he hummed, "Anyway, your grandmother shined a distinct Dark Green color, it's not a bad color, but the connotations of the color usually belong to ambition, greed, jealousy. The lighter color that's not clouded with Darkness, means, growth, wellness, fertility, safety and harmony", he explained. "The darkness, what color is that?" Sasha asked curiously. "Black?" he asked pointing out the obvious.

This Time, I Will Not Love You

This Time, I Will Not Love You

A tiny bit of light suddenly sparks from afar. I didn't hesitate to run and chase that light. Ahh, finally, there's a light. As I get nearer and nearer to it, it suddenly turns dimmer and dimmer until it doesn't resemble any light at all. "No! No, no, no... please don't." The light was starting to fade. It then explodes, making a green-colored light. Green... I suddenly remembered that it was his favorite color. I laugh at myself. Why have I been thinking of him up until now?

A bit confusing at the beginning but this is a very nice story. Read every chapter till the end and it’s a good ending. But I’m a bit curious what happen to marco and hera after they heard the news that kianna died in car accident.

A good story. The switches between past, present and her two lifetimes were a bit confusing but in general I enjoyed the narrative and the development of the mystery of her death and the birth of her new love! Well done author!

The Mafia & The Queen Bee

The Mafia & The Queen Bee

I waved her question off. “Okay…” She spoke cautiously. “Now, blue or green?” I asked. She looked at me sceptically and with confusion clear on her face. “I mean, I can make a red button but red stands for danger so people get cautious about such things. Blue and green are like safe colours.” I grinned at her. Red usually stands for a long wait in front of the traffic light and green stands for nature. What people don’t understand is that nature is dangerous too… “What exactly are you doing, Mia?” She narrowed her eyes on me.
