We can stop to rest if we get tired.” My answer seemed to please Grey because he nodded. “That’s fine with me, but you have to tell me the moment you feel tired, alright?” “Okay.” I picked up one menu and handed the other to Grey. “What are you going to have?” “I’m thinking, pancakes. It’s been a while since I had them,” Grey replied. A good choice for breakfast, I agreed with him. “Pancakes it is then.”

Gray asked, not even looking at the plastic menu in her hands. “Well, they serve breakfast all day. Most of that is good,” Raven said, not looking at the menu. I figured she’d been there enough times to know what she wanted. “Just don’t order anything seafood or seafood related,” Sam warned. I chuckled. That made sense. We were far enough inland that anything from the sea probably wouldn’t taste good. “Who are all these guys?” Gray said, ignoring Sam and his comment as she leaned across the table to ask Raven the question.
