Grimoire Online Novels & Stories

I gulp and ask her while maintaining her heavy gaze, "What's a Grimoire? Is it some sort of relic?" That only intensifies the heavy air around her that sprouts goosebumps across my skin. I glimpse at my mate to see him leaning in with rapt anticipation. When she starts to speak again, I lazily drag my gaze in a horizontal line and settle then on Aunt Sue staring at me. "It's a book of magic spells, rituals, and instructions used by practitioners of magical traditions. Its texts are sacred and secretive, containing knowledge and information on various magical practices, symbols, and techniques."

The pain from my stomach is enough to remind me of the torture I would go through. “I swear on my life.” I avowed but he still wasn’t convinced. “Curses are like wounds and all wounds require treatments to be cured. I’ll be needing some ingredients that will be used for the ritual process to break your curse. I don’t know the ingredients to be specific but with the help of grimoires, I should be able to decipher them and the required process.” “Grimoires?” He uttered as he came closer. “You mean those witch books that contain spells and stuff?”

Already searching for a way around the impossible. When we arrived, Elder Orin was waiting on the steps. "You found something," he said. Not a question. "We found everything," Mara said, climbing out. "And it's worse than we thought." We gathered in Kade's office—Mara, Marcus, Reeves, Elder Orin, and us. The grimoire sat on the desk, radiating dark magic. "Show me," Elder Orin said. I opened the book. The words appeared again, written in blood.

One was the image or vision I saw about Grim eating flesh and bones. The second was why I was seeing this and why I had this severe migraine. Immediately I was done bathing and dressing. I climbed my bed again ready to fall asleep when a knock came in. “Come in” I ordered, maybe it was the maid. My eyes widened when Grim walked inside with a glass on his hand. “Magna said I should give it to you to drink,” he said in a low voice, stretching his hands to me. I glanced at the cup and then at him. Magna literally hated me, told me to send her greeting to her child and now she is offering me a drink? Maybe it was poisoned.

"But how do we perform this spell? And where can we find it?" Isolde produced a worn, ancient tome from the folds of her robes. The book's pages were yellowed with age, and its cover bore strange symbols that seemed to writhe and shift. "I've had this for years, Baros, waiting for the right moment. The spell is within these pages, but it's intricate and dangerous. That's why I need your expertise. Together, we can unlock its secrets." Baros studied the book, his fingers tracing the ominous symbols. "And once we have performed this spell, what then? What is your vision for our future, Isolde?"

The look on Slate’s face said it all as Nya stood there with the Heart of Magic tight in her fist. The soldiers’ faces told her that they recognized that it was too late, that they had let the magical gem fall into enemy hands. One of the soldiers held a sword to Slate’s throat, his hands trembling. Nya hadn’t even realized that he was under their control until the tip of the sword pierced his skin, and a tiny droplet of blood rolled down the edge.

He is so happy because he will finally be able to escape this chaotic world and they will be able to fulfill the simple dream of Akira and his as a normal couple. When he arrived at the condo, he immediately took a shower first to be able to clean and to make sure if he hadn't been scratched before. As the water flows through his body you can see the blood of his victims clinging to him gradually flowing into the sink. Azrael’s body is full of scars from his wounds from his previous missions and on his back is a large tattoo— “Deus Mortis” which in Latin means “God of death” is what the organization called him because of the number of impossible missions he has accomplished.

"Who’d you terrorize today?" "Mr. Bradley," she answered casually, sipping the beer Donnie handed her. "Not the old man again!" Donnie groaned, shaking his head. As she sat, a man beside her caught her eye. He wore a wide-brimmed hat that covered most of his face, expensive snake-skin boots, and a silver cobra ring on his thumb. His hands looked too soft for hard work, and though his face was mostly hidden, his presence was commanding. "Hello!" Bisila snapped, trying to catch his attention.

My vision clearing, I came to an ornate onyx gate, carved with symbols of dragons and snakes. A dripping creature stepped out of the shadows to the left of the gate. It was skeletal as if it had decayed, but only on one side. The other side was some sort of scaly creature with two heads. The stench was of vinegar and sulfuric eggs. It was enough to make me gag. Its eyes were hollowed out, one barely dangling by the optic nerves. Organs were partially visible only because the intestines were dragging behind it. It opened it mouths and I could see jagged and yellowed teeth, a snake's tongue flicking out as it spoke. "Only defeating myself and my army grants access."

Sooner or later we need to face the world and the dangers that wait outside these walls. His arm tightens around me, ‘We will deal anything that comes our way. Now that I have you, nothing will ever take you from me, I won’t allow it.’ He kisses the top of my head and I feel him drift into sleep. ‘You need to read Gwynn’s Grimoire, it will have answers and ways we can help. They have a better chance of all coming out of this alive with a magical assist. Thanks to the binding, you have much to catch up on, and little time in which to do it.’ Willows words fill me with excitement, curiosity and dread.
