“I am sorry for speaking as if you weren’t here.” “I’m not,” Grace says with a humph but there is a sense of humor in her voice. “You would be too stubborn to listen anyway.” Faking a gasp, I cover my mouth with my hand. “You are such a bitter old hag,” I joke, and I hear Erebus gasp beside me. Covering my lips, I unsuccessfully hide the laughter that rumbles through my chest. A small chuckle erupts from Grace’s lips and soon enough we are both holding our sides in laughter. Erebus looks hesitantly from Grace back to me and to Grace again with his mouth agape like a fish. An action that only causes Grace and me to burst into tears as our laughter turns to him.

Ali groaned, clutching his jaw, his eyes wide with shock and pain. Nathan blinked, visibly stunned, before a slow grin spread across his face. “Well,” he said, his tone tinged with amusement, “I didn’t see that coming.” He turned to me, his eyes sparkling with admiration. “Remind me never to get on your bad side.”

I groan. “I don’t have time for this shit!” he groans in annoyance, his jaw ticking, as he suddenly jumps off the ring. Damn, why did I just say that?

It was difficult for him to get the words out through his laughter. It was impossible to resist giggling along with him now. His laughter was infectious. “He fell like a bag of straw.” Egan laughed, throwing his head back, and she joined him, and they were soon laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world. Her sides hurt, and she had to straighten up and breathe, because her baby was protesting in her belly. “We are laughing over dead men.” She said finally, looking around sadly. “Three dead and a straw man,” Egan said, and began laughing afresh.

Grace said jokingly, knowing that they were going to the club. Theo scrunched his eyes in confusion, taking Grace’s joke seriously. “Oh- Well, yeah. If that’s what you’d like to do. Are you sure?” Grace looked at him with a poker face, letting him think that she wanted it. When she saw the seriousness on Theo’s face, she couldn’t hold it in anymore and burst into laughter. “Oh my God. Look at your face. I’m just joking,” Grace said in between laughter. Theo caught on to the joke finally and started laughing with her.

I could hear her soft chuckles on the phone. "This is not funny Sharon" . I spoke in annoyance she chuckled softly over the phone and l just kept rolling my eyes, this is one bad thing about Sharon she always makes jokes out from every serious matter. "I'm going to end this call'". I spoke in annoyance "Sorry, you know this is funny. I can't believe Grace can't remember you and you have to go through all this stress just for it, it's indeed funny". She kept on laughing loudly, I got irritated and ended the call.

Dumb face: but you're really not behind me, people only say that when they are behind you. I chuckle, he's kinda right. Me: go away Aaron. Dumb face: ok seriously where are you? I've been looking for you everywhere. I smile, he's sweet. Really sweet. Impossibly sweet. Literally sweet. Me: I won't tell. Dumb face: I'm groaning. I can but I couldn't. Droon sighed like he couldn't take my dense senses and stupidity.
