Joel joined her and they both laughed hysterically. Grace and I looked at eachother, Grace shook her head, her lips folded as she tried old back her laughter but she let it out and burst out laughing. I joined her, I couldn't help it. Grace's smiles and laughter had always been contagious, no matter what state you were in.

I chuckle quiet at first, then louder. It sounds strange, like it doesn’t belong to me, like I’ve borrowed someone else’s laugh. "We're hoping you'll find it funny and entertaining. Nerius squawked in encouragement, causing me to smile. “Um, what did the Griffon say when he walked into the bar?” I asked. “What?” Szan asked. “Ouch.” Only the Fiery Lynxes found that funny. Yeah this was going to be pretty rough. One after another we went up and told our funniest jokes and yet there was nothing. Not a chitter, a chuckle or even a snort from the Griffons. We were becoming hopeless.
