Now, The Alpha Wants Me Back

Now, The Alpha Wants Me Back

Already engaging in the long siege that would define my immortal life thereafter. "Stalemate," his voice echoed. It was mine alone to hear now, caged in the prison of my own making. “I’m in prison again, but this time my prison is you. We're bound together, Guardian. You cannot run at full strength without opening yourself to punches. You sleep and I can't help but want to take over. You don’t have permission to die until you’ve set me loose out into the world again. How long are you going to be able to keep this up before you snap?”

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Then the old Guardian answered. Then: "The weapon spared the Crowns." Pause. Then: "It chose the Throne." The world stopped. God. No. Fair. Absolutely not. Reasonable honestly. Then Thomas closed his eyes. Because he already knew. Then the old Guardian continued. Then: "To destroy the horror." Silence. Then: "The prison must fall." Nobody moved. Nobody breathed. Then Rowan whispered: Then: "What happens if the prison falls?" The old Guardian looked toward the giant eye. Then:

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Blue Thunder: The Rise of the Legend - book 1

said Sebastian and mind-linked Coralis what this facility was for, so she could search for other test subjects held captive and look for evidence. When hearing that Sebastian had found Frank alive and seemingly well, she started to calm down, but her rage flared back up upon hearing about the type of facility they walked in. “THEY WERE ABOUT TO DO WHAT TO HIM?” “Hell is breaking loose in there, I’m going in,” said High Goblin Glorisse and reopened the portal to let Boukya, Chiwa and High Djinn Moraa through it. “So am I. Get the prisoners to the coordinates I’ll send you. Transports will arrive in about 90 minutes. Agent Boukhya will stand guard there, and I’ll send you Agent Chiwa Mila to a

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

Rejected by the Alpha, Claimed by the Beast

"I know it feels like a nightmare, but you have to remember. You're a Knight. You're the Alpha. You told me you would follow me into the dark. Well, this is the dark! I need you!" Rowan shook his head, tears streaming down his face. "I'm just a fisherman. I just want to go home. Please... just let me go back to the lake." The door to the lab hissed open. Four security guards in black tactical gear stepped inside. They didn't carry swords. They carried sleek, silver rifles that hummed with electricity. "Subject 01 and Donor 04," the lead guard said. His voice was muffled by a gas mask. "You are in violation of your maintenance agreement. Return to your units immediately."

The Alpha's Blood-Bound Prisoner

The Alpha's Blood-Bound Prisoner

She told her about the terms and the month of leverage and the way the castle had stopped feeling like a prison before she admitted it to herself. She told her about Edda. The woodcut. The words in a language nobody had taught her. The bond activating, her palm blazing, his hands around her wrist with the fire burning low. She told her about the staircase. She did not soften any of it. When she finished the room was very quiet. Vael unfolded her hands. "You understand that what you've described constitutes unlawful detention under council law." "Yes." "And you are choosing not to pursue a complaint." "Yes." "Why."

Storm said and went to lay on his bed, closing his eyes immediately. Guard him her foot. Gwen didn't say anything. She went to sit on the bed and place one of her legs on it, placing her head on her up knee, she closed her eyes. *********** Prison: "What was that for?" Juno hissed out the words in anger. She made sure the guards were out of their sight and hearing before she glared at Kando. "Are you high on something?" They were put in separate cells that was facing each other. Kira was holding the iron bars separating her from Kando.

Prisoner in your arms

Prisoner in your arms

She had never felt what she was feeling now—a mix of emotions tormenting her. "Grandma," Santi called. "Yes, my dear?" "When can I see my parents? I miss them." "Soon, be patient." Lazarus pretended to check the refrigerator. "We're out of milk. I'll go buy a bottle." "Perfect. Could you also get some cereal for the child?" "Of course, no problem." As Lazarus left, he left the gate slightly ajar. He had fulfilled his part; being present was not part of the deal. He quickly walked away, and minutes later, two vans arrived. Sergio and his men entered the property, immediately subduing the few men present.

The Alpha's Forgotten Bloodline

The Alpha's Forgotten Bloodline

It wasn't the smell of a prison; it was the smell of a hospital mixed with a graveyard. Down here, the walls weren't made of stone. They were made of glass tubes, and inside those tubes were people. Not just any people—wolves with the Crescent Moon mark. Some were old and gray, others looked like teenagers. All of them were hooked up to thin silver wires that sucked the light right out of their skin. "They're alive," Elias whispered, his heart breaking. "They've been kept alive just to be used as batteries." The Final Guardian "Step away, boy."

Tritan's brows furrow in concern as he seeks clarification. Tritan addresses the prison official, his signs clear and deliberate. "Excuse me, sir. We've come to meet Joe and Bryan, but we were not aware of this restriction. Can you please explain the reason behind it?" The prison official, a stern and authoritative figure, responds with equal clarity, his signs accompanied by a firm expression. "According to the prison regulations, legal representation is necessary for any document signing within the prison premises. It ensures the prisoners' rights are protected, and the process remains fair and impartial."
