Nicole's POV Xavier uncapped the bottle and tipped it to my lips. I bent my head and blushed as I took a sip, which turned into a gulp. I didn’t realize I was this thirsty. It spilled out of my mouth. “Are you okay?” Seeing Xavier display such tenderness on something that wasn’t his daughter made my stomach flip with joy. “Hmm.” I nodded as he took the half bottle of water away. “Let’s go for round two,” he said in all seriousness, but when our eyes met, his lips cracked into a smile.
