Gunmetal Gods Novels & Stories

I swipe the hair from my eyes and get to work on the bags. Once I've checked them, I head to find Alden. He's in the armory with Cabel and Nokita discussing the firepower they're taking and what's staying behind. Guns are something else we've been working on or more accurately, providing enough ammo. We've now stockpiled thousands of rounds so we have guns with actual bullets. Swords are still better for hellhounds, but we need the guns for our human enemies.

Tried to bring in as much money as possible but with my father’s illness- “She is in session. What is the nature of this visit?” One of the guards asked that stood beside the golden door. Like the door, their armor was made of golden metal. Gold fused with steel. Or something of the sort. If I had one of those, I could feed my family for a thousand years, if we worked with the money well enough. Yet here the spring goddess was, squandering it on her most elite guards. Never looking after her people. “He hunted in the sacred forest. The punishment-“

he was no longer a puppet; he was the Central Processing Unit of the entire fortress. "System Command: Kinetic Railguns—Online. Target: The Needle." From the side of the 10,000-foot peaks, massive barrels of spirit-conductive alloy emerged. They didn't fire shells; they fired boulders of compressed jade, accelerated to Mach 20. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. The scout-ship’s shields flickered under the relentless physical bombardment. The Creators had prepared for energy weapons, but they hadn't prepared for a mountain throwing pieces of itself at them with the force of an asteroid.

Michael muttered, removing the magazine from his manmade gun as he checked the clip; turning to leave. Elika watched as her uncle’s comrade strolled away, leaving her alone with Dorian. She shakily tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear, turning to stare up at the animal-like immortal. He glared down at her, adjusting his grip on the metal chain attached to the collar around her neck as she once again remained silent. She kept her face free of emotion as she stared up at him, masking all emotion as she drowned in sorrow on the inside. The feral being snarled, barbarically slapping the princess on the bottom of the back; jolting her forward as his hand connected with her spine. She

Tall, clad in armor of fire, eyes burning like two stars born from the void. The spirit of the first God of War. He stared at Rayden for a long moment, then smiled faintly. “You have surpassed the boundary of blood, Rayden Kalesvara Duskar.” “But remember, the blood of Gods is an endless fire. If not guarded, it will burn your world.” Rayden met his gaze, calm but sharp. “Then let this fire become light for those still fighting.” The god was silent for a moment, before his voice softened. “You speak like him.”

I asked Gabriel as we lifted into the air and soared towards The Clearing. The Clearing is what we call The Garden of Eden. Only Divinity can access it. Though, mortals from other god sects have wandered in by accident. It has a security system that detects mortals and brings them back to where they entered and seals itself off to them from then on. It’s kind of like a living version of AI. “Gabriel, Emerial, Lucifer.” God said as we landed in The Clearing. “Elijah.” Lucifer said back. “Back to that again, Luci?” God asked.

“I didn’t mean it. I really thought it was harmless.” “You shit! It’s a weapon, you idiot! It’s called a gun and it can kill in one blow,” Alexei pointed out, still scowling at Mikhail. “It’s loaded with silver bullets and that’s how rogue hunters used to kill rogues in the Land of the Banished.” “What?!” Mikhail drew back in disbelief, horror began to glaze on his face. “Drat it. I’m lucky I pointed it to the door and not from anyone here.”

i said again and she gave me a mischivious smile "You talk to much you know..i think it's time for you to meet your ancerstors" Nina said coming close to me and Hareite said "Stop!" Nina turned around "What did you mean manupulating us?" Hareite asked and Nina gave her a dangerous look I was about speaking when Nina removed a golden weapon ( this is a special weapon use to kill gods) to starb me but i held the weapon trying to starb her instead. She was not as powerful as me..so she fell and started laughing.

Golden light pulsed from within like a second heartbeat. Valerian’s swords whispered free. “Stay behind me,” he ordered. The Shadow Blades fanned out. Then the coffin exploded. Shards of marble flew like shrapnel. A man rose from the ruins. No not a man. A god. Taller than Valerian by a head. Hair like molten gold cascading to his waist. Skin that glowed with inner sunlight. Eyes pure, blinding gold. He wore armor of white gold that looked forged from the sun itself.

“There is a senate meeting that might need your addressing,“ he mind linked to Mitch, who nodded and replied, “I already did that.“ Draco looked surprised, but he did not say anything else as they followed Delta Adam to the back of an SUV. He pulled open the boot of the car and brought out some long boxes. Mitch reached out and opened it. Lined beautifully and carefully were racks of black, shiny guns. Draco’s eyes seemed like they would pop as he saw them, but Mitch was unconcerned about his beta's reaction while Adam had a proud look on his face. “What of the bullets?“ Mitch asked. “Right here,“ Adam said, pulling out another smaller box to reveal the pointy tipped bullets. Mitch took one
