Guts X Casca Novels & Stories

Cassie stepped between Aser and Kael so fast that even Kael blinked in surprise. "I’ve been bitten, Kael," Cassie said coldly. "By my father, by my wimp of an ex-husband, and by the boy the Syndicate sent to cause me trouble, and I'm still standing. I know you've seen the numbers I make. That’s profit. That man lost money, and I make money. If the Council cares about strength, they should look at the balance sheet. If they care about bloodlines, well, that’s just a nice way of saying you’re afraid of change."

He asks, and Val tightens her grip on me. “Cillian O’Reilly, this is my fiancée Valentina Giuseppe and Rocco Santos.” I say and he looks from Val to Rocco and he nods his head and turns to the others. “Mar sin iad an da cheann a bhfuil ar Cassie ina dhiaidh?” (So these two are the ones our Cassie is after?) He asks in Irish and I look at Andros and he looks at me and I know he knows what they are saying.

He has not hurt her yet, but we don’t know when that will change. “El is out with him now we have to—” Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr A loud growl rings outside. I rush to the door as I hear Cassie scream. I swing the door open to see Cass on the ground with a wolf standing over her. One look in his purple eyes, I can tell it’s Xavier. Has he lost it again? “Xavier, what are you doing?” I shout. He shifts back and stands up. Cassie scrambles to her feet and runs to me.

One of the senior staffs spoke, "Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Here is Miss. Cassie, the company's new assistant director." Everyone immediately clapped and cheered for her. Her cloth looked very expensive and her light make up was excellent. She looked so glorified that her beauty radiates the eyes of the male staffs. But unlike other staffs, Brigitta was extremely shocked to see the new assistant director. Cassie? Cassie was her ex bestfriend. The one who alongside her stepsister had threesome with her ex-husband.

“You two gremlins need to calm down before you break something.” Matteo, ever the instigator, giggled. “You mean like last time?” Luca, who had been refilling wine glasses at the table, choked on his drink. “Last time? What happened last time?” Cassie, seated beside him, burst into raucous laughter. “Oh my god, Luca, you don’t know?” Ethan shot her a warning glare. “Cass, shut up.” I covered my mouth, trying not to laugh as Cassie dramatically wiped fake tears from her eyes. “Oh, this is gold. This is—”

Cas waited by her locker, still sweaty and faintly redolent of wet dog. “So,” he said. “You and Xander.” Carolina slung her jacket into the cubby. “You and that bottle of cinnamon booze.” He grinned, teeth too pointy, and held up a half-empty flask. “Want some? It’ll melt the insides right off you.” She took the bottle, uncapped it, and swallowed a burning shot. “Is the entire pack talking about us?” Cas leaned against the row of lockers, tilted his head. “Some are jealous. Most are scared.”

I return Mariam's glare, not caring that Emma could see. There's a ghost of a smile on Emma's face as she nods and looks to me. "Nice to meet you, Cas. And what I meant by someone like you, I mean't I wasn't expecting someone that looks as fragile as you. It has nothing to do with your gender or how shabby you look." She smirks at this. "I was expecting a wrestler looking type." I turn my glare on her. Her words were not so veiled 'criticisms.' I do not look shabby or fragile. Careless, maybe, but not shabby or fragile. "Cute," I mutter.

Except from Zion and Sorren, the members of this family only see him as a threat, a rag, a child of a maid. While staring at Finn and the smile on his lips, Cassius felt like stepping in dog excrement, smelling a sour milk, touching a bag of garbage where water seeped from it and seeing a used bandage. His stomach churned and his eyes burned in elicit feeling of disgust. Standing beside Cassius, Harriet heard Cassius heavy breaths. She turned her head into him and saw the veins on his neck protruding from his pale skin. ‘This isn’t good. Cassius looks like he will run away from the hall sooner or later!’ Harriet gasped inwardly.

Nathan said. "Oh, this must be good if you waited for your parents to leave," Jacob said. "Nathan, I can't handle anymore stress, maybe you should not tell them." Cassie said, nervously. "Cassie I know they can be ass holes at times, but it is ok.." Nathan told her. "What is it Cassie?" Norman asked. Cassie went to look out the window. Nathan followed her and wrapped his arms around her. "Guy no smart-ass remarks please. Cassie is a half blood." Nathan said to them.

Maddox stumbled, trying to catch his breath. “Don’t. Ever. Touch. Her. Again.” Casio bellowed, his voice low, trembling with rage. Around us, chaos erupted. Casio’s men emerged from the shadows, each taking one of Maddox's men as a fighting partner. The air filled with grunts, moans, and sounds of fists meeting flesh. But the sound became muffled as my eyes landed on Casio. He came. He really came for me. Through the haze, I felt a hand on my shoulder; my gaze met Andy’s.
