We marked that day as the first time that Charlotte ever had an alcoholic drink, and ever since, she only ever drank vodka-lime with soda. The waiter brought our drinks and disappeared into the dark hollow. I secretly watched as Charlotte took a sip of her drink, her first reaction still forming a scrawny look. Her second sip was however much easier as she maintained a smile this time. I thought of reminding her of her first time but figured that she was also thinking of the same with every sip she made. She came down from the bed with her hand on the bedside table, for support. Her head felt like it was spinning, she couldn't recall how she had ended up dozing off last night, she took bottled water from the fridge in the hotel room, uncapped it, she poured it down her throat as she felt dehydrated. Charlotte picked up her phone from the bed and checked the time, her eyes widened when she saw it was already 8 AM. "Jeez... I'm late for work" she said and immediately threw her phone to the bed, dropped the bottled water, and dashed to the bathroom, removing her t-shirt on her way.

He went closer to the bathroom that Riele is in to ask her but she said she wasn't expecting anyone. Everyone was shocked when the knock continued. Charlotte grabbed a mop and told Harry to watch the noodles while she gets the door. She moved closer and asked, "Who are you?"

“Okay. I’ll come pick you up.” At that moment, Charlotte realized that her three-year relationship had been nothing but a joke. She silently closed the chat window, placed the mouse back where it was, and pretended nothing had happened. Then, she walked downstairs to the kitchen and ladled herself a bowl of oatmeal. Spoonful by spoonful, she ate. Zac had a sensitive stomach.
