That morning the Headmistress had come to collect me from my chambers in the tower and took me to a strange, circular room. As everything in the tower was, it had high ceilings. There was a large, round contraption in the middle, which looked like a table made out of iron, except the top part wasn't smooth. Four circles of a hundred candleholders each were welded onto the table, each holding a fresh, white-colored, unlit candle. Two large windows let light enter the room.

I almost run into his back from my rubbernecking when he stops at a semi-circular desk area with a large coffee machine set to a side. "Two coffees, one black and one with sugar," Trey shouts in the direction of the guy behind the machine before he turns us around again. The quick movements start to give me whiplash. I couldn't be happier to see the three orange-ish couches in a circle centered around a large coffee table in the middle. On the couch to our right, the guy I met as Finn on Thursday sits with his arm around a skinny woman with dark brown curly hair. Both their mouths are slightly open and she looks back at Finn with an unasked question in her eyes. Shock?

The air was heavy with the combined scents of patchouli, sandalwood, and something faintly metallic, a subtle reminder of the precision and power that seemed to permeate the house. Fahad, the attendant who had appeared silently at his side, led him past the main hall into a lounge where low leather couches hugged an enormous table. The table’s circular top was supported by a ring of carved water buffalo, their horns curving elegantly to hold the glass above, a feat of craftsmanship that made Danny pause in admiration.

As soon as I walked through the door leading into the sitting room, my eyes caught this extremely realistic ocean frame. It had a pretty little girl slightly bowed with her shoulders forward and her hands outstretched, drinking from the flowing water like it was a cup. The water was above surface level and the girl was underneath it, wearing the most radiant smile I'd ever seen on anyone as she drank it. The beautifully crafted wooden coffee table that sat in front of the couch was also a major point of attraction for me. It was aesthetically adorned with carvings that were intricate and given a rich, dark finish.

I instruct. “What about the curtains or the cutlery?” “Um, we spent so much time looking at how the toilet flushes we barely had time to buy everything.” I exclaim. “But it flushes backwards.” He wonders. “Are you high, because I think you're high?” I say wearing a bored expression. “Here is what I am thinking. In the centre is the table for Mr. Varallo and his associates with will be extra big and the table around with other people. Also all tables should be round, no square tables.” I envisioned.

Opposite that is a wide, high, rich-brown camel back sofa scattered with chocolate brown cushions, that can easily seat five people, with a circular antique coffee table atop a golden rug that partially covers the beige and orange tiled floors. Past the living area is a high-arched glass wall sectioned by stone columns. Through the windows, you can see the second living room which acts as an entertainment area for guests. It’s mostly used when we have a large number of guests since it’s where we keep an exquisite and fully stocked stone bar. Most of the main living areas have very earthy tones, sticking to browns, golds, beiges, oranges, and reds.

Sweet. Now, the dining section. It consists of two tables for dining— one big and one small. The large table is suitable for around 18 persons while the small one is suitable for 4 persons. There are several other sofas and tea tables. From the look of it, it seems we are allowed to invite some friends to come over— but it’s not like I have a friend or something… Next, the centre. Ignoring the door from the entrance as well as both of the doors connected to our rooms, the centre was limited to a square space. The square area contains our personal chairs, freely movable and some highly advanced function— like some sort of butler serving drinks or massages.

With only one of its kind in the entire bar, it took more than money to get in. Next to a high-class, crystal coffee table, Stanley Batton sat with Henry, Sebastian, and Gary in a circle while drinking some quality red wine. Since the room was dimly lit, they could not see each other’s facial expressions clearly. Meanwhile, the stars in the sky and the city lights surrounding them made the room appear extremely dreamy and aesthetic. “Did you invite us just to drink today? Why aren’t there any chicks?” Henry leaned lazily against the couch with a glass of 1982’s Lafite in his hand while one leg crossed over the other.

Two long tables were standing on a heavily tiled ground. Red silky fabric covered the table on the left, occupied by forty-five students who fashioned themselves with designer dress and suit. The same goes for the fifty-five students sitting on the table with yellow fabric. About hundreds of golden plates, spoons, and forks stood on the tables, shining at the light coming from the ancient-looking chandeliers hanging just above them. The circular table in the center, decorated with golden fabric that’s heavily embossed with crowns of different sizes and structures, seemed out of place. It’s the only thing that has six high chairs on it, three of which were already occupied by Hail, Michelle,

It’s a good thing I’m well versed in building, so I made a two-level shoe cubicle that is motorized to move like a Ferris wheel in the sense that instead of only holding a dozen pairs of shoes, it can hold two dozen. The fancy shoe storage wasn’t the only new thing I’ve built. I’ve completed the furniture for the dining room. I made an oblong table out of flame mahogany that can extend to seat ten. The two leaves can be added or removed to suit the occasion by a unique winding mechanism. The table is raised on turned and fluted tapering legs that terminate in brass cap castors, making it easy to move when required. I was proud of the design for this one.
