You're journey begins here." ~~~ I smiled as I opened the door of my room and almost gasped as I was exposed to a large room, as in too big! Living room, kitchen Then there are two more hallways. It's a house and not a room. The interior theme is black and the furniture theme is white. There are paintings hanging on the wall. "Roommate." I looked at the one who's spoken. I saw the woman leaning against a wall where I could pass. Long black hair that I think is knee-length, black lipstick, black eyeliner, black nails, and is wearing a black t-shirt and black pants.

I teased as I looked at myself in the mirror. The black satin dress plunged deeply, showing a lot of cleavage. It was skintight with slits on the sides all the way up to my hips. The back was also completely open. My hair was slicked back in fancy high ponytail to show off my slender neck because it was apparently sexy for vampires since that was where the pulse points were. The makeup was extremely dramatic with crimson lips, thick black wingtip eyeliner, and dark gray smokey eye. There was a tiara on my head that held more valuable jewels than I would ever care to consider the value of. It was gorgeous but sadly not mine to keep.

Something she could only imagine existed in books and movies. A pair of red eyes and two long fangs that stuck out of the mouth as though they were always meant to be there. Except there was no blood dripping from his mouth as always described in books. Yet, she was still scared senseless at the sight of a living, vampire right in front of her eyes. He moved closer to her again but this time, she was prepared and understood what he was. She lunged on her feet in fright and prepared to flee. But she had barely moved two steps when that figure appeared in front of her again.

I shouted back “We will be out in a moment. Dimitri leaned down giving me a quick peck on the lips before hopping up and turning on the lights. “I guess we should get dressed then.” Dimitri huffed while walking over to the closet. I also got out of bed and went to the bathroom where my clothes were already hanging up. I had picked out a black floor length dress and I also had a black veil to wear, as it was customary to wear one during vampire death ceremonies. When I walked back into the room the sight of Dimitri nearly took my breath away. He was wearing a tailored full black suit, and looked stunning in it.

I tell her when I walk out the shower and leave her to gather herself. I pick a black button down and black slacks, my shiny dressed shoes and the Rolex I got from my father when I killed my first vampire. Then I turn to Adriana’s side of the closet and pick a burgundy colored jumpsuit that exposes her entire back. The phoenix on her back and her not yet healed mark will be on full display. I love it.

You'll have to disguise yourself as one of us. Adrian's forehead furrowed as he sought to figure out my plan of action. "How am I supposed to do that?" As I seized command of the situation, a malicious smile formed across my lips. "Leave that to me. I'll take care of everything." I rummaged through my closet, looking for the proper outfit. I got a set of black overalls and gave it to Adrian, instructing him on how to wear it while concealing his obvious vampire body tattoos. I colored his hair a vivid crimson with my nimble fingers and gave him contact lenses to change the color of his eyes. I then sprayed him with wolf scent to hide his looming vampire scent and handed him a little containe

Samael and I relax by the fire for a little while, until Heidi and Harlow show up to help me get ready for dinner. They apply a light layer of make-up on my face, and style my hair in a half up-do, leaving a few curls loose. The dress they put me in is midnight blue, it's fitted at the top but flows to the floor in layers and has dainty lace sleeves. “Do vampires always dress this fancy for dinner?” I ask, as Harlow places a pair of heels in front of me, which I step into cautiously.

Although she wasn't expecting an answer, she asked anyway. Akira's anxious about how a vampire could enter the safest place in the city. “For the fall of the king and rise of the new king.” The vampire guard muttered, and Akira heard it. ‘King? New King?’ “For the fall of the king and raise of the new king.” He muttered it repeatedly like a chant. The vampire's mouth was pouring saliva so thick and in the color blue. It reminded Akira of rabies, and she also saw it in pictures. Traces of thick things on the scene and the color blue weren't able to be identified back then. But after long research, it belonged to a dhampir.

Her questions were not only going into areas that he’d rather not discuss, but they were keeping him from his work. “I’ve been with you long enough to know what you should look like,” she said. “Is the change from the vampire blood?” He gave a slow shake of his head. “I don’t think it’s entirely from the blood,” he said with slow deliberation. “When I was in the alley, I was attacked by what I thought were men in werewolf and zombie costumes. It was Halloween night, after all,” With a slight chuckle that wreaked of defeat and sarcasm, he added, “It seems they weren’t costumes.”
