Hannah's voice rises. Everyone looks at Aaron. Even Adrian straightens up, interested in what his brother will say. Aaron opens his mouth, closes it, then opens it again. "I went there for business. To discuss some business deals. That's it. Nothing happened." "You liar!" Hannah tears out of his grip and starts hitting him with her fists. Aaron tries to dodge her punches, laughing nervously. "Babe, stop! I'm telling the truth!" "Business deals at her apartment? At night? You think I'm stupid?"

As we entered the office, Hannah’s assistant barely spared us a glance before motioning us toward the sleek glass doors of her office. “Right on time,” Hannah said as we stepped inside. She was seated behind a large desk, exuding power in a deceptively calm yet sharp way. “Hannah,” Nolan greeted, his voice smooth and controlled. “This is my wife, Anastasia.” Hannah’s piercing blue eyes flicked to me, scanning, assessing. “The woman of the hour,” she said, leaning back in her chair. “I’ve heard a lot about you.” “All good things, I hope,” I said smoothly, taking the seat across from her without waiting for an invitation.

I responded. "And why should I tell you that?" He demanded. "You have no choice Nikolai, you know what I can do." I said darkly, a smirk making its way to my face. "Ahem." He cleared his throat straightening in his seat. "Well I suppose I could tell you what I know." Just what I thought. "Good, now go on." I signalled to Riel to take notes of things. "Well her name is Hannah, Hannah Anderson Yuriel. We don't see her out of the pack house much so there is little I can tell."

AMBER’S POV My doorbell rang. “I think that’s Hannah at the door,” I muttered under my breath. “Come in Hannah.” Hannah came into the room with a tray of food in her hand. Hannah is older than me. Hannah is the oldest maiden out of the four maidens that served me, and also the most quiet of them all. Hannah is five foot nine inches tall and her fingers are also very long. Her eyes are still gold colored, which means she hasn’t taken the life of a human. Judging from her calm look, Hannah doesn’t look like one that could kill a fly.

Considering Aaron had been able to fly there directly in less than half of the time, she was fairly certain that his lengthy head start would be problematic. But she wasn't willing to give up. Hannah had arranged for a motorcycle rental, which would be enough, considering all she had with her was the serum, her passport, wallet, and phone, all in a small backpack.
