Later that day, I sat at home, watching various news videos of the Acceptance Ceremony. “Luna Hannah has outperformed herself today with her warm reception of Zoe, Alpha Noah’s former fated mate, and Zoe’s son, Adam,” one news anchor declared. “She has shown herself to be the picture of grace and poise. I know that I wouldn’t have handled such a situation so tactfully.”

Hannah took up the glass and lifted it to her lips. “You shouldn’t go around looking for me, Ronan.” She said firmly, her eyes moving quickly. “I don’t want anyone finding out who I am.” “You mean aside from me and Atlas?” She froze, a cough escaping her lungs as she placed the glass noisily on the table. Air seemed to vanish from her lungs, choking the shit out of her. Ronan just exhaled, still not able to believe what he was confirming. “Don’t—” she coughed. “Don’t say that name out loud.” She said, taking a deep breath.

“I understand that you don’t want people to know that you mated a whore and you don’t even remember it.” “Ana, that’s not-“ “How is everything?” Hannah’s falsely cheery voice asked through the door. “Do you need me to check anything?” Anais had pulled on her own shirt and pants by then and she turned around. “These are fine, Atlas. We can go.” She moved to open the door and Hannah stepped back. She looked right over Anais and straight to Atlas. “How did everything fit, Alpha Hawke?” she asked him. Anais kept her eyes downcast as Atlas answered.

**Avery's POV** The weekend is finally here, and I can hardly contain my excitement. Hannah and Sandra have been my biggest cheerleaders, and I’m so grateful to have met Hannah. She’s such a charming person, and I feel lucky to have her in my life. They practically forced me to ditch Gideon and go dress shopping for our visit to his family after school on Friday. Hannah POV It took Hannah 20 minutes to shower, she was now stood in her closet donning on a pair of forest green skinny jeans with a dark green with burgundy floral patterned short sleeved peter pan collared peplum top. She had towel dried her waist length dark tresses to the point that they were almost dry and had applied on some moisturizer. Hannah need not wear any makeup as she was blessed with a natural rosy blush, soft pink luscious lip and long thick eyelashes that coated her almond eyes giving the effect of an eyeliner, which winged out at the corners defining them to look like cat eyes.

“Auntie Julie”, she cried with tears threatening to spill from her bright eyes. “I don’t want to go to that school anymore!” Julie made the monumental decision to be the guardian of her late sister Mara’s beautiful daughter when she died shortly after giving birth to Hannah. Being a mother isn’t easy, even for a normal child and Julie knew this.
