“I need you, Ella,” I said, looking at Ella. Her throat bobbed at the intensity of my gaze. Meeting her father’s death glare, I added, “You see, we’re shifting to Rhode Island, so we have a lot of work and unfortunately, I can’t do them without her.”
“That’s a good news,” Fiona clapped her hands and smiled at her husband and Ella.
