She walked over to the bar, picking up a bottle of wine, pouring two glasses without even asking.
Helen scowled. “Are you here to help me or laugh at my wasted efforts?”
But Zara simply chuckled, holding out a glass to her friend, the mischief clear in her eyes. “Helen, don’t let your mood stop you from celebrating.”
Helen glared, ready to ask Zara to leave, when Zara reached for her phone. “Look,” she said, placing it in front of Helen’s eyes and turning up the volume.
“This is the answer to all your prayers. The accident, the baby… it wasn’t all for nothing.”
