Scott asked Fredrinn.
His hands remained tight around the steering wheel, his jaw set in that tight clench. “I’m driving.”
“That has never stopped you from talking.”
When Fredrinn didn’t respond, Scott’s gaze shifted to me through the rearview mirror.
“You should save the number,” He said, “if you change your mind, I can help you pick a tattoo.”
Looking at the number, I thought about Scott. About the times we did things together.
A smile tugged at the corner of my mouth, maybe getting a tattoo wouldn't be that bad.
