Falling for My Best Friend's Brother

Falling for My Best Friend's Brother

"I kept it general. Thought it was better for you to tell it yourself." Avery looked at him. "Thank you, Tate." "Don't thank me yet," he said, but the corner of his mouth moved. We went in together. Administrator Hargrove was a woman in her early fifties with reading glasses on a chain around her neck and a desk covered in paper that looked organised in its own system. She stood when we came in, looked at Avery, and pulled out the chair across from her desk. "Miss Nash," she said. "Please sit down. I understand you have something you would like me to hear."

Ex-Husband's Regret: I'm sorry I loved You too late

Ex-Husband's Regret: I'm sorry I loved You too late

Avery scrambled to her feet. Then began digging through her backpack. Katelyn watched suspiciously. "What are you looking for?" "My paper." "What paper?" "The paper." Very helpful. A few moments later, Avery triumphantly pulled out a folded brochure. "There." She handed it directly to Stella. Stella accepted it automatically. Then frowned. "What is this?" "My trip." "Oh." Right. The company visit. Avery had spent nearly an entire week talking about it. Katelyn smiled. "She's still obsessed."

WICKED PROVIDENCE Book 2

WICKED PROVIDENCE Book 2

The warmth of it spread through her chest, her eyes misting. “My thanks, Avery,” Harper whispered, her voice a ragged rasp. Avery adjusted the furs behind her. “Save your breath. If you hadn't moved so quickly, Madison would have inhaled that rot. She is a pup; it would have been a death sentence. You saved my daughter’s life, Harper.” Avery’s voice trembled with a rare vulnerability. Harper let out a weary sigh. “I am glad it was my lungs then.” She stared at the stone ceiling, her face etched with sadness.

Twin Moon Curse

Twin Moon Curse

I'd be the perfect case of someone suffering from Stockholm syndrome. Avery, now that is a whole other level of crazy for lack of a better word. She worked with the hunters to help Keegan get me and to get Meg out of the way. She was hoping that Quinn would forget about her. Like Quinn would ever forget Meg. Mona said that she even attacked her Mom when she told her that Quinn was not coming for her.

Without a doubt loved this book could not stop reading. Repeats a few sceans from different views in the beginning but then stops as you keep reading. You find your self not caring though because you’re so deep into the passion of the story to care.

read all on the other app in less than 24 hours, and I enjoyed all 237 chapters. I'm very excited to find the sequel. Hopefully, in the sequel, there are updates on the twin moons characters that aren't the main in the new book.

Tangled Hearts: In Love With My Ex Husband's Boss

Tangled Hearts: In Love With My Ex Husband's Boss

Juliet’s chair scraped back, disrupting the otherwise perfect peace in the room, “Are you out of your mind? Her? She’s never managed a lemonade stand, let alone a department! What the hell do you want to turn our family business into?” Hector’s head swiveled between Avery and me, confusion etched on his face. Avery herself looked genuinely surprised, she hesitantly said, “Me? Wait… Are you serious?” “Mrs. Woods,” I said, my voice cutting through her outrage, “I run this company now. Avery has a quality this place desperately needs: empathy. Something your management style clearly lacked.” Later, I saw Juliet corner Avery near the water cooler, her voice low and venomous. I leaned against my

I said again. However, Harper's expression turned serious, and she looked at me like I was about to do something reckless. "But, Bernard... wouldn't he be mad if he finds out you're cooking all by yourself again? He's warned everyone not to allow you cook again. And you know he's right, right? You're the madam of this entire building, Avery, you need to start acting like one. Especially now that Hazel is here," she said, her voice laced with concern.

My wife, my enemy!

My wife, my enemy!

Breakfast had long ended and their departure flight back home was in less than three hours, yet he couldn’t seem to pick up himself from the table where Avery had confessed for the first time that she wasn’t the happy person he thought her to be. The more he thought about her, the more he realized that, truly Avery wasn’t the happy person he thought her to be, she was someone who cowered at the thought of a foe reappearing in her life, she was someone who had to give up avocados for sixteen years to protect her brother, she was someone who had to get married on contract to afford going to school, she was someone who fronted impudence because she had to survive, she was someone who rejected h

The Brilliant Second Life of Doctor 'Vicious' Harper

The Brilliant Second Life of Doctor 'Vicious' Harper

Then he turned to Harper: “Miss Avery is the daughter of BioL Group’s chairman. I’m here to accompany her today.” Harper nodded politely. “Hello, Miss Avery.” Avery’s gaze flicked to her, and Harper sensed an undercurrent of subtle hostility. “Hello,” Avery replied curtly. While waiting for her assistant to fetch luggage, the three of them sat down for a drink. “Miss Reeves, did you know Senior Jax was also my senior? We attended the same university,” Avery said, her large, dark eyes flashing with charm. Her allure was undeniable, even Harper felt slightly captivated.
