Two months went by and we were also a week away from Matt's 18th birthday. The man loves to read, so I decided to buy him the complete series of Harry Potter. He loves the books more than the movies. He couldn't afford the whole series, so this is the perfect gift. And also, the wand. He is a Potter head. I saw him walking to his locker, I ran towards him and jumped on his back. "There she is." He chuckled. "You're almost eighteen." I said while hugging him. He's older than us for a few months.

“Oh my god! You got me the Harry Potter Series!” I rushed to the bookshelf and grabbed a copy of ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. It was the only book I had read in the series and I had fallen in love with it. I had promised myself that I would buy more but I never got the money. “Yeah, girl,” she said smugly, “and I got you some others you might like…” I saw the other books and my jaw dropped. It was almost all the books on my reading wish list.

Hunter crossed his arms in front of his chest and looked at me annoyed. I ignored him and turned the cover. Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets. "Well, this is a secret, alright. I didn't know you're a Harry Potter fan." Hunter took a few steps and took the book from me. "You know nothing about me." He opened the book, flipped through the pages until he found the page he was reading. "I know you for a year now. I think I know one or two things about you. One of it is that you don't read, especially a book." I picked up the bottle of beer from the ground and took a sip.

There were so many books that all the bookshelves were full, and some of the tables in the center of the library had books piled on it. "We will need to add more bookshelves~." Susan commented and looked back at Madam Pince, who had some tears forming by her eyes' corners. "So many books…" Madam Pince said while taking one hand to her mouth. "Here." Susan spoke, drawing the attention from Madam Pince to her, and picked the big red leather bound book from the little bookshelf under the lectern. She showed the front cover to Madam Pince, who could read on it, written in golden letters engraved into the red leather cover, 'Hogwarts' Library: Book of Records'. Hm… might have to have a good long think on that one. Lena closed the book after finishing up the entry and put it back into its place in her desk drawer. She tugged the band out of her shoulder length brown hair, running her fingers through it. The young woman then moved over to her bed where on the nightstand, was a very worn copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. She got comfortable on her bed, picked up the book and started to read. She got through about 10 pages before there was a knock on her door. "Come in!" Lena called. She glanced at the door when it opened and fellow sorority sister, Casey Grant, walked in.

There's a huge table in the middle of the room, full of papers and jars of pickled animals and even more books. Hyden might be gone, but the smarmy aura he carried around him is very much present in here. And something is calling me to look around. So I do just that. I don't really know what I'm looking for. I pore through the books and the papers, opening drawers and cabinets. More papers. Records of things, completely harmless. The books are filled with spells and potion ingredients and instructions. Most of them are for healing. Particularly, healing himself. It doesn't seem like there would be anything here. It's just an office after all.

I start listing ingredients and Harry jumps into action to find them for me. He continues asking questions as he has every other time he’s been in here to make sure he’s doing things right, but he’s got my organisational system down now

I was so buried in the search when Andrian called out to me. “My Alpha, I think I found it.” Hearing that made my heart thump a bit. I swiftly ran to where he was. A small book, which shouldn’t be more than two hundred pages, was in his hand. I collected the book from him. The covering was a deep crimson hue, reminiscent of a blood moon casting its eerie glow. And on the hardcover were swirling shadows hinting at hidden magic, and the book of spells was boldly written on it. A small smile found its way to my face. I wasn’t happy because Tristan can also use the spell, but I was happy because I could get to know more about the spells I'm using, which I'm sure would be in this book.

MIA'S POV As I delicately turned the worn pages of the Book of Enchantments, my eyes widened in disbelief. Each incantation revealed a darker secret, a more malevolent power than the last. The ancient script described spells that could rend the very fabric of reality, summon creatures from the shadows, and manipulate minds with a mere whisper. My heart quickened as I stumbled upon a page filled with vicious curses, each word practically dripping with malice. The realization struck me like a physical blow – this book, revered for its enchantments, was a weapon of unimaginable destruction.
