I couldn’t resist the temptation to join them, curious to see the artwork that had garnered such admiration. As I approached Stanley’s painting, I was immediately struck by its beauty. It depicted a vibrant scene of a sunny day in London, with a bustling café serving as the focal point. The atmosphere was palpable, drawing me into its midst. Freya's P.O.V The hallways seemed to stretch on forever as I walked past several wooden doors, all with their own intricate detailing. The pictures were all of the supernatural world, of wolves and witches. Women gathered around a cauldron and wolves howling at the moon. At one of walls, hung a tapestry where there was a woven picture of what I assumed was the Moon Goddess. A woman stood in front of the full moon, her white hair blowing back in the wind and her robe took up most of the picture. And at the bottom of them were wolves. They were all looking up at the Goddess in awe, whose ethereal beauty could be seen even through the painting.

I let my purse slide down my arm and drop to the floor where I stood in front of his desk. “Because short skirts and Harry Potter T-shirts are so professional,” he retorted. I wore a black, pleated leather skirt that sat high on my hips and flared out with bare legs and black combat boots. On top, I wore a white T-shirt that read, “I’ve got 99 problems, but a snitch ain’t one,” with the golden Harry Potter snitch on it tucked into my skirt. “Whatever, Muggle.” I plopped down in one of the chairs in front of his desk.

Inside the small room was a small shelf with bottles of potions with different colors. A small table with a wooden bowl on top of it was placed close to the table and on top of it was a large crystal ball. Annette went to stand in front of the table. She shifted the wooden bowl to the side so she could see the crystal. She removed her hood and let it fall to her back, revealing her ugly nature. The wrinkles on her face had doubled and dark tiny veins had also taken over one side of her face. Her eyes hid deep into the sockets and dark circles surrounded her eyelids. The only photo, which carried that of a living being, was the black and white image of a young woman who seemed to be the deceased Queen of the witches. Aside from that, there was a huge counter in the middle, which had several empty concoction bottles, and bowls containing unprocessed herbs littered on it. The room did not fail to give out its sorcery vibes, as two shelves stood facing each other at the opposite walls. I needed no one to tell me what filled the shelves were potions, poison, elixirs and herbs.
