“You won’t be saying that when I pull your soul out of your ass.” Jada snarled back. With a growl, he grabbed her wrist and slapped the cuffs around them. I knew he must’ve pinched skin from the way she gritted her teeth and winced. Next came Hakeem, who looked like Nox, thanks to Harley’s shapeshifting ability. The guy didn’t think twice before slapping a set of cuffs on him. He turned his stare to Nox and me, and I silently prayed he didn’t somehow see past Harley’s magic.

Chase immediately understood what he meant by this. Only the Octa Serpent, or Shale, who had been enshrined by the Trevors for generations, could make Hamish act this way. Who would have thought that Hamish, so illustrious in public, was merely a messenger in front of Shale? As if to confirm this, the moment Hamish finished speaking, a figure emerged from the dark space. He was tall and completely black. If he had not suddenly appeared, they might not have noticed him. Shale blended perfectly into the environment.

Patton’s, too, slump, and he rocks forward, wincing as the same tingles rip through his muscles as our blood supply returns. “Soren,” Blake grinds out, his voice choked with pain. “Come here. Hurry.” I rise with effort, scanning the broken pieces of iron as I rub my arms to wake them up. “Did you do that? With your powers?” “Yeah–” “Break yourself out, then, come on,” I urge, glancing around the stone room where he’s bound to the chair. He shakes his head, his face and neck covered in blood. I lose my patience and start yanking on his iron shackles until the metal warms and bends.

He had a homely face that you could easily forget and was clad in black from his neck down to his feet; from his long black coat over a black turtle neck shirt, slacks, and black gloves made of suede. "Oh, not the freak too..." groaned Lance. The guy, had slicked back black hair and wore big round spectacles. He looked at the charms, took out a white slate and a pen and started writing. "What is he doing?" Dorin asked, his curiosity getting the better of him. Seb stopped writing and showed him the slate, [1st class charms and wards, also, a strong hiding spell] he wrote, pointing at a transparent band on his right arm made of a sort of liquid metal.

She didn't expect that someone would actually booked for it and it was Anton Stanford whom she was trying to avoid to encounter! Anton was silent while staring at her but more to it, his eyes were focused somewhere. Ashley tried to trail his gaze. "Oh My gosh!" She shouted, tying her robe lace back. "Pervert!" Due to her carelessness, she had pulled the lace that holds the robe together and it opened to Anton's view. She was wearing nothing but her creamy skin and her tattoo which settled in the right side of her chest. He was addressed as a pervert but he ignored it. The tattoo in her chest was what bothers him. Somewhere in his memory, he seemed to have seen it before but he couldn't just

That long black hair was the reason why she was called Dark Shadow, for it was not merely a decorative piece. Kneeling before Dark Shadow was a walker. This walker was a variant at the peak of 3 Stars; however, right now he looked nothing like a warrior. His limbs were cruelly crashed and one of his eyes had been pulled out forcefully, allowing it to dangle freely out of its socket, held onto by a thin cord of connective tissue. There were several burn marks on his body and there was no life to be seen in his only functioning eye. This was a creature that had been forcefully broken.

But just as he was about to touch Harry, Black gave his hand a firm kick. Connor tried to look the Mad One in the eye but could not do so. He could only bow his head in submission to this force of nature. "I don't know what happened. We conducted the control protocol as we've always done in the past..." he began to explain before falling silent. "Mat, hi. Duncan speaking. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we're going to need you... Wolfsbane and silver... Harry's in a bad way... In the Red Moon pack... Yes, Alpha Black is with us," Duncan replied calmly before turning to his Alpha.
