Azrael said with an annoyed frown as this girl, Hara, straddled Azrael’s thighs as I stared at her confidence before I removed my eyes. “I missed you. Plus, sis Daphne has been whining to me about how you treated her in front of an omega; turns out you have a new lover. Say, say… Do you like him?” She asked as she took off the shades to reveal eyes of two different colours, brown and green. “Please don’t read whatever you want about me and Azrael! Also, I’m a married man!” I informed her as she laid her head on Azrael’s chest who didn’t have any interest in anything happening.

I follow her gaze to see him slouched on a seat alone, nursing a bottle of whatever that is, his hair is framed across his face, making him look like someone who hasn’t had proper sleep in days. “I’ll go check on him.” Arya says, slipping out of my hands. My body instantly goes cold the moment I am not holding her anymore, sighing, I watch as she saunters over to his side and seats in the chair facing him. His face brightens up a little as he talks to Arya; of course, my Arya has that kind of effect on everybody. The door opens and Daphne works in, cheeks flushed from the cold. Before she can apologize, Brayan’s voice comes from the passage connecting the living room with the other four rooms in the chalet. “Daddy, who is that?” When I turn to face him, Brayan is rubbing his sleepy eyes with the back of his palm, but it’s the gasp I hear from Daphne that causes me to turn back to her. “You are married?” She asks, her eyes shooting wide open to the point where her eyebrows almost touch her hairline.

"I think we have been poisoned. Not a big deal… We have been vomiting greenish slimy substances since yesterday." There was a retching sound. She raised an eyebrow. "Can you get poisoned? I mean.. can witches get poisoned and they wouldn't know? Don't you read minds or something?"

He closed his eyes and cursed softly before for the second time that evening proceeding to count his numbers to avoid spotting a hard on for his mate that hated him to her bones. Slowly his harshed breathing calmed down and he slipped into sleep world. ***** Daphne’s POV I stirred with a smile plastered on my face… the thought that I had him as my driver was a sign that my plans were working. Chapter 04. A JOURNEY BACK HOME. Daphne's POV. I gasped, breathing heavily. I glanced at my hands, and then to the clothes I was putting on. There were a few bruises on my hands, and blood stains on the brown knee-length jacket that I was putting on. I blinked my eyes rapidly in confusing as I stared at my palms, something wasn't right. As I turned to the side mirror, my heart sank. I was seeing a different face on the side mirror: purple hair, brown eyes, and a nose ring.

"I thought so." She uncorked the bottle and held it to Hermione's lips. "Drink." "What is it?" Hermione pulled back, heart racing. Daphne's hand shot out, grabbing her jaw with surprising strength. She forced Hermione's mouth open and tipped the bottle. The liquid was bitter. Hermione gagged, coughed, swallowed against her will. It burned going down. Daphne released her. "There." She brushed off her dress, satisfied. "Now we're safe." She rose to her feet, looking down at Hermione like she was something she'd scraped off her shoe.

I cried as Emmett growled and I struggled to get out of my mates grip. "No Emmett I have to please." I cried. Emmett held me firm and it was then I saw Daphne run to the magic line suddenly. "Daphne." I cried as everyone froze. A purple light surrounded Daphne as she approached the circle around Carmen. We watched as a flash of light the weird floating grimoire appeared at her side and we watched in horror as Daphne hit the magic line and froze mid air. Time stood still as I watched her in horror flash backs to the moment I lost Sasha raced through me as I fell to my knees when I had been restrained then too. I wasn't going to watch another friend die.
