Harry Potter Duelling Novels & Stories

I could feel the energy in the arena, the collective pulse of the crowd echoing my own racing heartbeat. Haydn, with his extensive combat experience accumulated from battling rogues on the borders, convinced me that he would surely triumph over Barnett. As expected, while Barnett initially managed to hold his ground, he gradually fell behind. Yet, Haydn didn't seem intent on delivering a fatal blow to end the duel. His hard fists pounded Barnett's face repeatedly, deforming it and causing blood to spray from Barnett’s mouth. Then, Haydn kicked Barnett in the stomach, making him bend over, fighting back with his fists.

There’s a brief moment of applause and cheer. But then he speaks again. “However, by special request, an additional duel has been sanctioned before we can proceed to the final duels that would crown the final winner.” Silence ensues within the crowd. “He will now face… Valerys Winthrope, the undefeated.” The silence doesn’t last long. Gasps erupt. Murmurs flare. Shock, disbelief, terror...like a ripple of fire moving through dry grass. «Valerys Winthrope? The mad warrior? The killer with a whisper? The beast with a face like a broken mountain?»

" Hikaru swallowed hard, not liking the sneer on Wángzǐ’s face or the glint in his dark eyes. Smoothing a sweaty hand down his shirt, Hikaru stumbled the two steps with his wand in hand. Yatagarasu Wángzǐ looked elegant and lethal, a slender figure in black at the other end of the gleaming length of wood. Hikaru may have been responsible for getting rid of Voldemort, but he knew that the man before him was a truly formidable and powerful wizard. Hikaru's heart beat faster as he tried to mentally prepare himself, no doubt the physical reaction was just in anticipation, he reasoned. "Mr. Liang." Wángzǐ bowed at the waist and Hikaru followed suit, trying to remember the rules they had been taug

Blood gushed out from his head and at the same time he healed quickly. "Pure fucking blooded vampire" Aurora murmured. Creating an illusion spell she made Francis drop the sword as he was seeing a thousand images of her in Emma's body. Gripping the sword she cut his head off and laughed wickedly. "It's your turn now little one," Aurora said as she walked towards Ava. "This is it," Ava said to herself, closing her eyes to await death. She opened her eyes instantly when she heard a loud cry,it was her brother's voice but she knew that the witch had taken possession of his body.Suddenly her brother's body turned green and went up in flames.

Claura added. The people around him continued to laugh at Henry and Claura as idiots who didn't know how to look at the times. Who is Sirrius? One who has never failed in any duel with special magic. Yes, the blind man will also take Sirrius to win. They looked at Claura's mountain of dawn jade on the table and hurriedly gasped at the great bargain about to enter their hands.

It worked well until Bella came around. What was about to happen was the first in history, so Herald knew he couldn’t lose, or he would be the biggest disgrace in history. The duel ground, encircled by towering stone pillars clawed by centuries of battle, reeked of damp earth and ancient blood. The pack members gathered around, sitting as spectators, while Herald and William stepped into the circle beneath them. To Herald, this was going to be a swift battle, and he would end William’s life in no time. Little did he know, William had tricks up his sleeves.

The mental duel commenced. Axel unleashed a torrent of dark memories, seeking to crush Thane's spirit. Thane countered with logic, dissecting Axel's weaknesses. River, sensing Thane's focus waver, grasped his hand. Theresa and Zara stood firm, shielding him from Axel's psychic attacks. Alpha Kieran watched, impassive. The duel raged on. Who will emerge the winner?

I clenched my fists tighter, my nails digging into my palms. The bell rang, signaling the start of the duel. My heart leapt into my throat as the two Alphas circled each other, their eyes locked in a battle of wills. The tension was palpable, the crowd on the edge of their seats. Kevin struck first, a powerful punch aimed at Alvin’s jaw. But Alvin was faster, ducking effortlessly and landing a blow to Kevin’s ribs. The impact was loud, and Kevin staggered back, clutching his side.

"She might hate me but the kings would tear her apart if she actually killed me. So it's worth it." Collins stared at me like I'd grown a second head. "You're betting your life on that?" "Yes." He shook his head slowly. "You're either the bravest or the stupidest person I've ever met." "Probably both." Prisca stepped forward. Her scarred face was unreadable. "The duel will be hand to hand combat only. No weapons. No shifting. First to yield or fall unconscious loses." Hara cracked her knuckles. "This won't take long."

He rushed forward and jabbed the sword towards Death's chest. Death brought his scythe down in a swooping motion attempting to sever Lucifer's free arm. Lucifer dropped his sword and grabbed onto Death's scythe as it connected with his blade. He jumped up and breathed fire at Death's head. More hooded onlookers had come from the forest. There was now a crowd standing behind Peter asking him questions about the duel. "Duel's code. Ya want to know ya have to fight them yourselves." He responded to the questioning group. Death released his grip on his scythe and blinked backwards. He held his hand to his smoke-covered face. For a moment Lucifer's father flashed in his mind, enraging him.
