Harry Potter Duelling Novels & Stories

She too was holding a blue chip. “Oh my, does this mean we will be teammates?” Nellie happily asked. I “Okay everyone, now find your pairs. When you find your pairs choose a glass barrier and you may begin your duel. The duel will end when the opponent falls to the floor.” The professor proudly proclaimed. “What?” I verbally voiced out. I casted a glance at Antonella but she too was in appalled by what she have heard. “Now, everyone, move your feet time is running, the person who will win will get the higher merit of course. Good luck wizlings, I will be here observing the battle.”

Potter, noticing the effect that his skin touch had on his assailant, raised his hands and took hold of Quirrell's face. The double faced man started to yell in pain with his face getting deeply burned, but managed to get out of the boy. Voldemort ordered Quirrell to kill the boy again. But the boy jumped before Quirrell could retrieve his wand, and took hold of the man's arm, holding on to it for life. Mr. Potter then watched as Quirrell managed to yank his arm out of his hands and the man doubled in pain on the floor. Mr. Potter, himself, seemed in the precipice of fainting, but held in time to see a dark shadow rise from the agonizing Quirrell's body.

Lucien stood firm, his sword raised, and his eyes blazing with determination. Lucien: "Your treachery ends here, Pierce. Your actions have consequences, and you will pay for your betrayal." With a swift swing of his sword, Lucien engaged Pierce in a fierce duel. Sparks flew as their blades clashed, and Lucien fought with all his skill and strength. Khal joined the battle, using his vampire powers to weaken Pierce and support Lucien. Khal: "This is the end for you, Pierce. Your ambitions have led you astray, and you have lost." Pierce's eyes widened in defeat, realizing that his plans had crumbled around him. He looked up at Khal with a mix of shock and resignation.

The advisor smiled encouragingly. “The Bloody Duel is an ancient ritual of vampires,” William began to explain. - Vampires will fight in a closed circle with a certain type of weapon - silver brass knuckles-claws. Such weapons are incredibly dangerous for a vampire. It is especially worth considering that the circle in which the Bloody Duel takes place weakens the duelists with the help of certain spells. Inside this space, they lose the ability to access their Power, so the opponents become equal, and rely only on their own skill and dexterity.

And the blood on his hands, the blood that he… I clenched my hands. Now, I can no longer stare at the hills without remembering Alison. I can’t look at the rings without remembering the engagement ring I gave her. I can’t look at blood without seeing hers and without thinking of that mortifying thing Bradley did that night. I can’t look at dead bodies without thinking of her lying on a huge rock, with her eyes wide open. When the duel started, I attacked mercilessly. Duke fought back. This was what I liked about him, about this whole thing. Altair, the only mage in this side of the kingdom, used mana around the training room. Without it, it would have been destroyed a long time ago.

Dylan tosses me a pair of weighted daggers, and I catch them easily, twirling one in my palm. “Alright!” I call out. “Let’s warm up. Pair off. Magic wielders with hounds. You know the rules, no killing each other before lunch.” There’s a rustle of amused murmurs, and then people start moving. It’s beautiful chaos. Nick is already in a spell-duel with a wiry hellhound who keeps phasing in and out of his field of vision. Henrys showing a younger hound how to reinforce his stance with ground magic. Jordan is watching me from across the clearing with a grin like he knows he’s about to start something. I spar with two in a row before Kai steps in, loose-limbed and unreadable. He doesn’t draw a bl

I would not show them fear. As I stopped before Kaius, our eyes locked, but I was quick to look away. “Three rounds,” he declared, his voice rising. “No weapons but strength, no allies but will. The one left standing at the end shall be declared the victor. The first round of the duel begins at the sound of the horn.” He said and took a few steps, leaving Sloane and me to face each other. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears. “Ready to go down the drain princess.” Sloane's smirk grew into a grin. The horn sounded, and my heart sank. The first round had begun.

Theo fought the three Hellhounds as he ducked one tail hit, the other Hellhound grabbed him from behind and smashed him to the ground. He received light speed punches on his face and he coughed out blood, feeling too weak to do anything as he layed on the floor. One of them dipped his burning hands into his heart and made to pull out the dagger but Harry who couldn’t allow his friend die hit the beast with a plank on his head but it had no effect on him as it broked. “Uh oh… Am good as dead..” Harry thought in panic as he tried to escape the two beasts that bore down on him, his friends couldn’t do anything to save him and Theo was weak.

We could have worked together. The assassins put away their guns in favor of their wands. All four stood before us and let loose with a bombardment of spells. I gritted my teeth and braced against them as best as I could. The option for holding up this shield and retaliating with my own spells was out. I just didn’t have the energy for both. I side-eyed HUXLEY, doubting he even knew how.

But if I knew her as well as I thought I did, she would overpower them and make them do her bidding. Holden released a feral snarl behind me when Rona stepped forward, lifting her hand like she wanted to punch it through my chest and rip my heart out. The sound made her stop, and I raised an eyebrow at her, waiting to see if she had the guts to take me on in a real fight. Wolves challenging each other was cute. They would wrestle and fight to the death. But witches… witches held duels. All elements and magic were at play, and anyone nearby was at risk of being hit by a rogue casting. It was deadly to all watching, not just the witches participating.
