But I didn’t want them harassing you so I distracted them the best way I know how, besides, I gave them a fake number anyway.” He assures me. I sigh, hating how that actually does make me feel a little bit better. “Don’t you feel any shame? Acting that way? Lying to them? "Yeah, you can't fall in love but you can pretend!" He paused to stare at me. "This whole fake relationship thing started with pretense so we continue the pretense" I insisted. "Diane, this is different" He rasped. "But if Henry sees a sign that you love me, then we don't have a problem, do we?" "Yeah we don't, but Henry's smart, he plays around a lot but that does not make him a total dumbass. He knows I'm not in love with you and can't fall in love with you" Harry explained, gesticulating with his hands.
