King Harvey closes the cylinder with one motion, connecting the two ends together, then rolls it lightly on the metal plate to fix the bump he has created. King Harvey steps to the bubbling pot of lava and taps the metal rod on the lid of it. A sudden smell of burning metal overwhelms me and I look up at King Harvey in shock. The sound of whistling and violent bubbling lava freezes me. King Harvey steps in front of me as the pot lid flies upward violently and a wave of lava splashes onto King Harvey. “No!” Grabbing King Harvey by his shoulders, I see his arm is charred. He smiles at me as tears roll down my face.

"Do you even remember why I had that fever?" A flicker of recognition crossed Harvey's eyes. He did remember that incident. Beau, in his mischievous play, had emptied the wish jar on Harvey's desk. He took the glass marbles inside and launched them one by one into the lake with a slingshot. Those marbles were a keepsake from Harvey's late sister. His fury erupted, and his voice echoed through the house, leaving the staff too frightened to intervene. He then turned to Elara and ordered her to retrieve all 32 marbles from the lake.

The shop was mostly empty, a quiet comfort. Moments later, Jarred returned with a tray. He set a pink drink and a slice of strawberry shortcake in front of me, and an iced coffee for himself. Hade’s gaze fixed on Jarred, silently asking, what about mine? Jarred just shrugged and sat beside him. Hade rolled his eyes and leaned back in the chair, sulking. "There’s a lot of people here, Hade. Shut up," Jarred muttered through gritted teeth. I took a sip of my drink and nodded appreciatively. Strawberry—sweet but not cloying, just right.

I roll my eyes and elbow Bellamy in the ribs. “Sure.” Harry answers, waving around his right hand which is still clutching what I can now see is a shiny glass bottle full of something purple. “Incubi delivery service. Where we always deliver the whole package.” He says with a wink. I groan. “That was terrible Harry.” I complain. “I could try another one. You would be surprised how many lines I can come up with using the word ‘package.’ Harry offers. “Please don’t” Bellamy says dryly.

The two of them shared each other in a manly way and Kavinsky walked in. Harry is wearing a white round-neck top and black pants, he held a cup of coffee in his left hand. He had black straight hair which made a bang in front of his face. His face is oblong and his eyes were black too. "What of your Dad?", Kavinsky asked crashing on the brown sofa. "He is at work", Harry replied sipping the coffee he held. "Aren't you going to offer me one?", Kavinsky asked referring to the coffee "Nah, am cool", Harry replied and they both laughed

He had been around Siberia for many years, but he had never met someone this idiotic in his entire life. He was glad he managed to stop Harvey from getting closer to Judith; her life would’ve been instantly ruined if she married someone like this.

“Here it is.” Shawn took it from her, giving her a once-over. Marie, also commonly called Black Barbie, had a thing for pink. To her, pink and pretty meant the same thing and she made sure to look it everyday. Even her dark brown hair had pink tips and so did her fake lashes. Now one would think someone so vain would actually be struggling with academics but they'd be wrong. Marie was academically gifted and she made it well known. Back in elementary school, she was a threat to Jade's overall position as second best. Jade was a little shy but Marie was extremely confident and outspoken, so she was frequently chosen to represent their school in competitions along with him.
