The alpha growled loudly, “I don't care about your motivations, only your actions!” “Be on alert…” I whispered, feeling the warmth of his body. I sighed as he approached, brushing his lips. Furthermore, I closed my eyes, missing him. Furthermore, I opened my eyes, looking at him and sensing his reluctance. His eyes were different and clearer, indicating there was something he wanted to say despite his resistance. A bang echoed behind me. I turned my head, finding Harry invading the room and breaking the spell, with Agatha smiling by his side. I think I shared the vision because Harvey smiled.

Harrison spoke anyway — quietly, gravely. “…The Stargate woke up.” A man’s low voice replied, equally calm. “Okay.” The line was cut immediately. Harrison sighed and slowly lowered the phone. He stared at the Stargate — now a blinding celestial portal pulsing with ancient power. Emma swallowed hard. “Mr. Light… what do we do now?” Harrison’s voice trembled — just once — before he steeled himself. “…We wait.” He exhaled. “And pray.”

She pouts but catches herself swiftly, and we walk into the narrow street until we reach an arched stone gate with ivy climbing up the walls surrounding it. “I’m so sick of this,” Kai mutters under his breath, and I take his hand, squeezing it as we wait for Hilda to create the portal in what seems to be in slow motion. As the portal is finally standing, sizzling steadily, Kai pushes Hilda to the side before she can turn around happily to announce to us that it is ready. “Well, it was a pleasure, baby witch. Have a nice life.” I giggle, pulling my hand out of my mate’s grip, and I go to hug Hilda. “Thank you for everything, Hilda. I hope to see you soon. Come and visit us one time.”

Xavier sat down at the computer desk, turning on the system, some of the monitors on the left wall coming to life and showing the garage, elevator, the room we stood in and the room below. Dane and Theo stepped towards the monitor with the room below. "Holy shit." Theo smiled. Dane turned on me, his arms crossed but his expression confused and awed. "You made a Stargate in our house?" I went to Xavier's side, putting my arm over his shoulder as his curled my waist, his large hand holding my waist. "Actually, Xav did." I smiled. They turned to look at Xav, eyebrows raised with confusion. Xav shrugged, turning to the keyboard and hit the activate command keys.

At the same time, Harry and Philip staggered back. Harry’s face was full of horror as he stared fixedly at Philip. He laughed miserably and said, “Well, well! I didn't expect you to be so strong!
