Our Love on the Rocks
“I know you. You’re one of the best graduates from our university. Our professor is still talking about you to this day.”
It seemed like he was my junior.
I smiled.
“Looking forward to working with you.”
The studio was small, and the colleagues were very friendly. I fit in quickly.
That night, the junior, Augustus Smith, kept asking me out for dinner.
I had no choice but to agree to his request.
However, when I entered the restaurant, someone grabbed me with a vice-tight grip. Pain exploded in my wrist as they tugged me, and I stumbled backward.
However, I did not actually fall. Instead, I fell into a familiar embrace.
