I roll my eyes and can’t repress a smile. “Oh all right. I guess it’s only fair.” I give him my number. What’s he going to do? Text me a hundred times a day? Call me and try to flirt? Send me a dirty picture? All of those things would be a nice change from the constant harassment I’m getting now. Harry immediately enters it into his phone and calls me, except I left my phone in the other room. “You have to save my number, okay? That way you can call me when you want to test potions, or if you need someone to walk you home, or if you just want company. Really you should just call me. I don’t care why.” Harry insists.

He pulled out his phone and looked at the text messages repeatedly. It was Grainne's last message, she said: I'll take Harry to C-city for the activity! I'm sure we won't see each other this week! Don't worry, Harry will miss you! She and Harry were gone for a week. Then he couldn't help but call her, but unexpectedly the phone was turned off. He didn't think much, thinking that her phone ran out of battery, but then on the second day, and then on the third day, every day he called her, he received a notification that the phone was off. He began to worry, so he called the school to ask teacher Truong.

“Harry, can I take a rain check for tonight. I just got off work after a long day.” Harry texted back, “It’s totally fine. Get some rest since you’re tired. I’ll always be here tomorrow anyway.” There was even a cute emoji added at the end. Though I hadn’t known Harry for long, it was the little things that showed how much he cared. At least, he was mindful of my feelings. I took the subway back home. Throwing myself on the sofa, I needed a moment of peace. Kent spotted me on the couch on his way out of the bedroom and said, “What took you? Have you been to the gym today?”

Standing up, I looked at myself in the mirror and wiped away my tears, tidied myself up a little bit and headed back out. ******* An hour or so had passed. Me and Harry had decided to pop down to the cafeteria and get something to eat. I had finished my coffee so on the way back, i stopped off at the vending machine and got myself a bottle of Coca Cola and some Water too. ‘Do you want anything?’ I asked, aimlessly but Harry said no. On the walk back to Alex’s room, Harry’s phone started ringing and he passed his sandwich over to me so he could check who it was.
