They had already started playing into my hands and it was a game of chess. I picked up the crystal orb that was sitting on the table next to me. Inside its depths, the day’s events replayed, swirling—Lena’s shaking body, Jason’s growling arrival, the disorder that had ensued. I ran my finger along the orb’s surface, muttering incantations that muttered amplified the scenes. “They fear me already,” I said, satisfaction plosive in every syllable. “But fear is just the start.”

It was midnight when a slender girl in a sheer dress knocked on my door. I squinted my eyes as I recognized the familiar face standing in front of me. It was Eleanor Holt, and she froze when she saw me. She quickly knelt and pleaded, "Shawn, please don't tell my mom about this. I'll do anything you ask." I stared at Eleanor in shock and pushed her hand away. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine she would do something like this.

I roll my eyes and elbow Bellamy in the ribs. “Sure.” Harry answers, waving around his right hand which is still clutching what I can now see is a shiny glass bottle full of something purple. “Incubi delivery service. Where we always deliver the whole package.” He says with a wink. I groan. “That was terrible Harry.” I complain. “I could try another one. You would be surprised how many lines I can come up with using the word ‘package.’ Harry offers. “Please don’t” Bellamy says dryly.

He pleads with me with a pouty face, and I let out a small smile before handing him the cup back. "Thank you, baby." He says, and I roll my eyes. He drinks the tea in less than five seconds and throws the cup on the floor, making a burning sound. "Fuck! What is in that stuff? It is so horrible. Ew!" Harry exclaims as he rushes over to the side table in the room and chugs on the water in the jug shamelessly. "Prussian blue seeds and water," I say in an amused tone, and he sets his jug on the table harshly to throw a murder glare my way.

Yuck! "Taxi!!" I called out
