I felt my entire universe shudder, completely coming to an end. My legs grew numb and my heart raced really fast. I glared at the door repeatedly as I couldn’t hear anything but my own voices that echoed deep down me. I heard those loud voices that sent down cold shivers over my body and right now, I wanted to disappear into thin air where I would have no worries ever again. “Yes, you can come in, my old Yifa. HAHAHAHA, my rejected mate!!” Dumbledore chuckled. He was making a mockery of me, “what was my offense in this world??”

I agreed, "Okay." Luna turned away from me and to Molly. Just then, Harry walked in and stared at us in shock, as he had already gone to the dragon's clinic and had his open wound bandaged and closed to enable it to heal faster. "Leave us, Harry," I said, as I didn't want Harry to be staring at Luna in her almost unclad body. Harry replied, "Okay, my lord, forgive me." Harry immediately left us, and my cold gaze fell back to Luna and the handsome man. I spoke, "He's not welcome here. Ask him to leave too now."

Gently kissing her forehead, he wrapped his arms around her, hugged her small body, and stroked her spine: “Emma, I know it's hard for you to accept this. But until Aunt Clark's health situation stabilizes, I can't do anything to Aurora.” Emma didn't push his large body away. It seemed like she was too used to his way of comforting, but she no longer felt the same sincerity as before. “So you confirm with me, do you choose me or Aurora?” She asked coldly. Don’t let me stand in your way.” Harry looked at the knob, then at me, then back at the knob, and the devil grinned. I expected something stupid like ‘open sesame’ or ‘alohomora’. But nope, he had to be dumb but piss me off at the same time as well.

“What makes you think Duke will fall for me again?” Harry smirked. “He already did once.” That answer silenced me completely. “The difference now is that you won’t be the weak, vulnerable Ann he met before. This time, you become the woman he can never fully have.” I looked away immediately. A part of me hated how good that sounded. “The plan is simple,” Harry continued. “Go back to Louis. Become his PA again. You will naturally be around Duke constantly. Slowly, we pull him back in.” I blew out a tired breath. This sounded messy.
