The three vampires gasped as Harry drove his heel into the heart he had ripped out before breaking the intruder's neck. Emmanuelle watched in horror as the organ burned away without a trace. Harry did not leave them any more of the glance and glared at them openly. The presence of his soul mate by his side had brought him back to calm, but the metamorphosis had alerted his senses.
