Hate To Love Romance Books Novels & Stories

Why does he want to marry me? Why me? How he knows my all favorite taste I love white and golden, I love mango juice, I love that makeup and dresses, perfumes that I always dream of, even the sandwich I ate was onion-free and full of cheese and mayonnaise just like I always eat in the lunch..... How he knows that???

Long enough for me to remember who I was before I met him. Turns out, I actually like romance novels. Not the tasteful literary romances Kenneth approved of. I’m talking absolutely shameless books with shirtless men on the covers, morally questionable billionaires, ridiculous amounts of tension, and enough spice to qualify as attempted arson. The kind Kenneth used to wrinkle his nose at. “Those books rot your brain, Jo.” Funny. I don’t think the books were the problem. I’ve also rediscovered cheesy rom-coms and psychological thrillers, all the goodies that Kenneth never agreed to watch with me because they were “too stupid” (the romcoms) and “too complicated” (the psych thrillers).

I raised my brows to ask her what was that she wanted to have. “Read me a book. A book to make me fall asleep,” she said. It was just a minor wish but it was really great deal for me. I never read any books. I hated reading them. The morality that were written in the books were just some nonsense to me. I never allowed myself to follow it. Romance novels were what I hated the most. They were just the way too cringe. I mean no boy would really love to read them and even if there were some, I wasn’t the one who would love to read such romance books.

I will like to inform you that a book two of this currently underway and i would let you guys know when i would be posting it. And yippe...Who wants to see George and Nicole' s Love story and how their love story turned out. I would post the link here as once i am done. She did have romantic ideas of love and marriage but she also knew rather too much of the difficulties when marriages go wrong. “No. That you read books like these.” At that, my hackles rose. I had a bit of a love-hate relationship with romance novels. Sometimes they could be so amazing that my mind was blown. But when they were bad, well, they were bad. Since I’d been reading them for many years now, I felt like I could criticize them fairly. But when someone—especially a man—talked derisively about romance novels, I always got defensive. I could call them trash, but nobody else could. “Do you want me to hit you upside the head again?” I held up the book. “Because I will if you keep going with that subject.”

He did not change and was sleeping in an awkward position. Ginny smiled as she walked towards him and removed extra clothes. She could not believe this man at all. As she covered him with blanket, she laid next to him and looked at his face who was snoring softly. She was angry with him for eight years. She hated him for eight years and now she was in love with him. It is said that the hate after love and the love after hatred is the most strongest. She never thought she would marry him but now here she was. Not only she married him but she was ready to make future with him.

I had learnt something else, something which had changed my mindset. From all my observations in the past month, I had figured out that Hate was way more stronger than Love. Love was nothing but fantasy, something read in storybooks and viewed in movies. It was something mistaken by others as real and true, while it was truly nothing but mere lust compounded with desire and sexual need. Something which our body hormones toy with us.

Then, as I scrolled further, a suggestion caught my eye: "Read romance novels to understand what love looks like in action." It sounded ridiculous, but desperation overrode pride. I clicked onto a bookstore website and began scrolling through its romance section. The titles and covers differed-some sweet, others fiery-but they all promised the same thing: a vision of what love might look like. I put a stack of them into my cart, trying to block out that nagging little voice inside my head, which questioned what I was doing.
