Their laughter filled the space and for the first time in what seems like forever I found myself smiling without effort. The morning went by quickly, we returned to the gardens where Hailey guided us through rows of herbs and vegetables that shouldn't be thriving in this broken world. “Kael found a way to cleanse the soil," Hailey explained as she continued working.
