He's A Hero Novels & Stories

I listened while lounging on the sofa. “ You know,” she said pacing the floor. “you may think that this weakness defines you but it doesnt. It only makes the story better. “ I rolled my eyes. “Yu are a hero in your own unique way And in the event that you want to give up—.” I blinked slowly. “—just keep in mind that Achilles had his heel.” “Okay.” I said drily. “Not all heroes wear capes.” “Yeah. Some carry guns just like me.” I said sarcastically.

He yelled and pulled her arm and she stumbled towards the right side of the road. A speedy truck passed through them. She was bought out of her trance. She blinked her eyes few times before realizing that she would have lost her life if not for this person. He followed her all the way here to give her a backpack. She looked at him. He was beautiful. He was perfect. She felt like she was dreaming. Her mind mocked her saying it was a dream, he was a dream. She wanted to believe it was a dream even so it wasn't. It was very much real. He was very much real. "Thank you so much for bringing my backpack and saving my life...." She knew she had met him somewhere before but couldn't put a finger on

This meant he would only have twenty-four hours before the spell was over; that’s if he could survive. “How do you feel Hector?” Jakes voice held a worried tone, he had watched him grow from a boy to a man. If something happened, it would be heart breaking for him to tell his parents. Hector didn’t answer, instead stuck his arm to the side allowing flames to form encasing it entirely. I watched as he turned his head to the side, only this time his other arm glowed. He was getting a feel for our gifts. “Hector?” Athena had moved to his side, her hands cupping his face seemed to bring him out of his daze.

“What has a ‘she’ got to do with this?” “You have not confirmed the identity to me so I could always wonder if a ‘she’ is involved,” “It’s a ‘he’. And you have seen him before. But I won’t say you know him.” “Who is he then?” “The warrior I stalemated in a fight at the Dark Moon pack... that’s him.” “That same one you couldn’t stop talking about?” “Yes,” I say, “he’s the one.” “Start explaining the complicated situation in it. I’ve still not seen what’s complicated about being a mate to a warrior from a rival pack. Or better still, a warrior that went toe to toe with you in a spar,”

50 years ago, a 29-year-old man worked under total anonymity to construct a shield in the sky for this country. 50 years later, he fell because of a petty farce. But the country he protected swept away the filth with the swiftest justice possible.

He had joked with me once that his personal trainer was the only person he let tell him what to do, other than his parents. “Did she call you again?” I asked him and watched as he briefly stiffened before continuing to lather his body. “Do you really want to know?” he asked, “Yes, I need to know if I’ve caused you any trouble sir. I’m sorry.” He paused and pulled back the shower screen enough to poke his head through. “My Angel, YOU did nothing wrong, and YOU have not caused me even a small amount of trouble.”

Because whatever this is It doesn’t make sense. And he doesn’t deal with things that don’t make sense. Not anymore. Still He doesn’t realize That this time Someone actually is watching.

“Oh yeah? What is it?” Hero pulls something from the small pocket of his suit—a folded piece of paper with a drawing he made himself with crayons. It’s a picture of ours little family: me, Freya, and him, standing in front of a house with the sun shining above us. Freya takes the drawing with trembling hands, her eyes glistening slightly. “Hero… this is wonderful.” Hero grins proudly. “Mommy said home isn’t about a place, it’s about the people in it. So this is our home!”

"You're pretty handy with a gun too." "Sometimes, the skill of learning how to protect yourself, just comes naturally." "Like the skill of learning how to be a hero." He opened his mouth to say something but I beat him to it and then I picked up the gun, aimed, "Don't answer that. You're already a hero, Mason King. Everyone who works to help the citizens of their country is." ...then fired. Once again, I didn't miss the shot. ~*~ Anna.

The day the new Pack House was finished, my mother, Aria, the Luna, announced the room assignments. Every space in the three-story mansion was claimed. The top floor was the Alpha and Luna’s suite. The room next to it—the biggest, the most beautiful, with moonstones embedded in the walls to soothe a wolf’s soul—was for Chloe. Chloe’s father died ten years ago in the Blood Moon War. He sacrificed himself to save my brother, Jasper. After that, my family adopted her. The whole pack treated her like a hero’s orphan, protecting her at all costs. I traced the blueprints with my finger. Room by room. My name wasn't there. I asked my mother. She paused, then spoke in that gentle, matter-of-fact ton
