Novel & Cerita He's Not My True Mate Novel

“ Sit down Delaury, I'm not going to break “ he winced at my weight but didn't say anything. I knew I was heavy, but I'd gained so much since I came here. “ Tomorrow you'll be all mine brownie, are you ready? “ He asked, playing with my hair. I nodded. “ Words, brownie” “ Yes, I'm ready “ I said, venom laced my tongues. What's the worst that could happen if I told Tristan I didn't want to be his mate? Impossible, because I wouldn't take that risk. I didn't know when sleep overtook me, but I remember falling asleep in his arms. My body was one big time betrayer. ★★★

I can't hide the truth from him forever. That's all I have been thinking about for the rest of the day. I am tired of all this lamentation. Gosh! I have hardly been with Damien for a day! Why can't I just move on and everything goes back to normal? Because we are meant to be together, I answer myself. Mates stick with each other for the rest of their lives unless one rejects the other. That's it! Rejection! If I reject Damien and refuse to be his mate, then the mate bond can be broken! If I am lucky, then the moon goddess will give me a second chance. I'll get another mate who my family can accept as well as my pack!

He poured himself a glass of water and drank it like it might wash away what he had to say next. “Nothing. He’s changed” I stared at him. “What do you mean?” He placed the glass down slowly. “He’s gone. Receded into the forest before we could capture him. But…” he paused, and then looked me dead in the eyes. “But what?” I demanded. Lucas swallowed hard. “He has a mate now.” The words landed like a hammer to my chest. “No,” I whispered. “He told me this. He–he said that you had moved on from him. It was only fair that he also did.” And everything went black.

It's a mystery novel about two mates who find each other while they are both trying to catch the same serial killer that's on the loose. She lasted less than a chapter in before she was passed out. The way she keeps falling asleep around me tells me she hasn't slept well in a long time. I hate that but we will fix all of that. "We have the rest of our lives to finish that book mate," I tell her, making sure she knows I see her as my mate. Her eyes flash up to mine quickly. I can see they're misted over. She still has a hard time accepting that I want her.

“I understand your concern. You’re wondering why I bother with that filthy thing when Alina is here, right?” I nodded, hiding the rage. Filthy thing? If only he knew how close I was to killing him right there. “The truth is…” he said, lowering his voice, “I don’t feel anything for Alina. Nothing. She’s not even my mate.” I blinked. "Then, who is your mate? You know her? Is she here?" "Yeah, but she's not someone I can be with. No. no. no. Never!" he said, shaking his head. "And immediately I see her or just hear her voice; I get aroused. Just thinking about her right now, I'm aroused."

His eyes locked onto mine, unblinking. “It means,” he said quietly, “that you, Reena, are my true mate.” The world tilted. “True m… ma… mate?” The words escaped my lips in a breathless whisper. Shock rooted me to the spot, my lungs forgetting how to work. My mind struggled to make sense of this, for logic, anything that could explain what he’d just said. “But I’m human,” I whispered, my voice trembling despite myself. “How can I be your true mate?”

Unknown P.O.V. I know it was probably a mistake to go topside, but I had to see her. Smell her. Feel her. I did not count on her being away when I finally got through all the gates, and out into the realm of air and sky. I tracked her through our bond, feeling her emotions, getting glimpses of her whereabouts, and I knew she was alright. Otherwise I would have raised all sorts of hell upon the people around her. Another thing I did not count on was him; her other mate. The golden retriever half/half werewolf/vampire Crown Prince. I will have to be cautious with him as he can prove to be very essential to my woman's happiness in the future. It annoys me, but who am I to argue with the Goddess

I added and felt my eyes darken, “Do you have any idea who she is to me? Lay a single finger on her, and I will not only burn this company to the ground, but I will also destroy all the things you cherish” I let him off after he nodded at me nervously. And it was smart of him to retreat from me rather than say anything else to me. Though I began to imagine. How did that happen? She was clearly an average werewolf when I felt a mate pull towards her and saw her. How then did she become a true Alpha? A true Alpha, huh? That only happens once in a lifetime. I had never witnessed it before until now. My mother usually told me a story about the true Alpha at night, when she was still alive.

It was the heaviest rain in a long while and for some reason, it felt like the sky was crying for the loss of the last Original. Author's note Hello dears, Author here, this is the end of His Mate.
