His whole body was battered and he was being dragged by one of the monsters. "Help me, Hailee" he yelled in her direction, looking as terrified as hell. But before she could make a move, one of the monsters grabbed her, stopping her on her tracks immediately. She turned with rage and tried to get off her captors but the lock was just as inexorable as manacles. The monsters kept growling at her as they kept walking towards her. She was very angry with herself as she stood there. She reasoned using the other hand to beat them off but it seemed quite impossible. She was very angry but her anger was slowly getting down to fear.

He’s a dirty blond who always seems to be just passing through. "I can’t believe you're fighting over a lousy beer, Harry," A blond woman shrieks, coming to stand beside the other guy. She can barely get a word in edgewise between the midsts of blood coming from her guy’s broken jaw. I contemplate stopping the fight but realize that the beer must be good if their fighting over it.

He smiled. “Still fighting,” he murmured. “I like that.” I grabbed the nearest thing—a metal rod lying near the wall. My grip tightened. “I said stay away.” His eyes flicked to it. Amused. “You think that’ll help you?” “I don’t need to win,” I said, voice shaking but strong. “I just need to stall.” Something shifted in his expression. Interest. Then— He moved. Fast. I swung. Hard. He caught it. Easily.

She was just what my monster was craving. I looked over to my left and found the phone. I gently ripped it from the wall so it wouldn’t make a sound and then pulled the knife from my pocket. I cut the cord and quietly walked closer to her. This one would be quick. I just needed to feed the beast. She was a fighter as I pulled the cord around her neck. She struggled against me gasping for air. The pan of bacon fell to the floor and made a loud noise. She was gasping and fighting trying to say something but I wasn’t listening. I watched as her life left her eyes and she went limp in my arms.

"Shit, wouldn't people from the defense department investigate this?... Ugh, I don't know anymore. I should probably focus more on subjugating all of the monsters that got inside the city." He went up to the top of the highest nearby building to look at the location of the monsters in the city. "Well, their numbers are not that big, I can handle about four more, and I can maybe leave the rest to those guys from the department." He quickly stands up, stretching out his muscles. "I haven't been in a monster fight for about six years, I hope I still have the knack for it." After saying that, he quickly jumps off and goes to the closest monster he could find.

Five people could fit in the hall, so it was quite easy to move in since Matthew came alone. From the first to the tenth floors, Matthew fought against hellhounds, kobolds, trolls, orcs, high orcs, ogres, demon slimes, lesser demons, giant scorpions, zombies, and skeletons. All the monsters were dealt with easily without Matthew having to use any power. His strength alone was enough to defeat them.

He was confused about what I'm doing but since he couldn't complain, because he can't interrupt me from what I'm doing he kept his mouth shut.
