He shook his head as he looked up at her with concern written in her eyes. “Sorry, just a memory.” He spoke gently. “Your hair looks way better down you know.” “I know,” She blushed. She grabbed the end of her braid and pulled it over her left shoulder. She played with the tip in her fingers. “I have just always had it up, it’s difficult to wear it down.” “He asked you to wear it up didn’t he?” “Yes, said it was always everywhere. The only way to stop it was to put it up.” That wasn’t all. After the accident the nurses used to braid it for her to help keep it out of the way.
