Heartbreak usually comes in different ways. Sometimes, it’s you holding your heart out as it is gushing out with hot tears that is as thick as blood. Sometimes, it is you hurting inside without having enough words to speak outside. All just because everything hurts inside. It was not merry. It was nothing too far, too close. But I just wanted to get away. I was not heartbroken. At least not yet, but I could not say the same for the man I was staring at. The same man I had been staring at for two minutes, which had felt like the first two hours of my first life.

Heartbreak is always very painful because before we had given our whole heart to someone precious. Whether it ends in disappointment, heartache or indeed love that is left but broken by circumstances. No matter how we are hurt, the longing will still come to fill our minds. The irony is that when we are alone, all we can remember are the wonderful memories that make us miss that person indeed more and torment us with the longing we have.

"I, Bridget William, reject you as my mate because you're always worthless to my heart" The room spun, and I felt my heart ripping apart. The finality of Bridget's words echoed in my ears, like a mournful dirge. And then she turned and left the stage, walking away from me, leaving me exposed and broken in front of everyone. Sydney's POV Love. Was ever a word more wonderful than that one? No, there was none. Love was hard to describe. No matter how giddy, happy, ecstatic or warm and fuzzy you felt, you could never define the word with complete accuracy. It was indescribable. Then there was heartbreak. With words, I can take what is broken inside and make him willing to walk the hard road of recovery. I know that if my words are not backed up by love, they will all be as valuable as the print on a letter that is charring and burning in the earth

"How could you be pregnant? The doctors said your chances of conceiving were so low." At his words, Sarah’s voice shot up, the tears she had been holding back streaming freely down her face. "A low chance of getting pregnant, not none at all! Patrick, do you even know how much it hurt when my stomach hit the rocks? Do you understand the pain of losing our baby? Do you know how devastated I was when you didn’t believe me? Do you realize how much faith I lost in you?" With every word she spoke, the light in Patrick’s eyes dimmed further until there was nothing left but the same hollow apology I had already heard from Megan.

Even though the words came out of my mouth, there was a tightness in my chest after saying them to my best friend. Ruby looked at me with burning eyes, filled with overwhelming anger. Without hesitation, he swung his hand and slapped me hard in the face, making my head sway to the right side. Pain shot through my cheek, but I laughed bitterly as I said, "A slap is nothing, Ruby. My heart is too broken and I can no longer feel the pain!” In my bitter laughter, there was hidden pain behind it. My heart is broken and hurt by the friendship that has been torn apart. I realized that harsh words and cruel actions would not change anything. Only destruction and loss were left behind.

But still the pain he was feeling in his heart was irreplaceable. Her words were echoing in his head, making him raged and he throws that bottle down with the liquid in it. The glass bottle shatters down and the pieces of it scatters on the floor the way he and his broken heart was. He couldn't guess how to ease his child's pain and get her relief from that. He couldn't think anything to rub that cause of pain from her life and fill up those deep wounds which she tries to open behind him in hidden.
