He held me close that I felt so much comfort I didn't want to let go. "Drake please... Just let me go. We can't be together anymore." I said and pulled away.

" I frowned at her while she shook her head in fear. "No sir, she is not feeling quite well so she won't be able to report today." She dropped the bombshell the same time my heart skipped a bit. "What the hell happened to her?" I hollered with eyes as wide as a saucepan. "She is suffering from a heart disease." She knotted her hands together. "What the hell are you talking about?" I slammed my fist on her table, making her panic. "Her boyfriend broke her heart so she is mentally unstable and she is nursing her heartache." She looked at the floor, fear evidently written on her.

Alma added. He shook his head. "I won't let her regret it ma'am. I'm going to work hard and prove that I have no bad intentions towards the lady." Alma nodded and showed her to her room. While going out of the house, he heard a yell. He felt pain in his heart like he was stung by a bee. It's happening to him again. Not knowing who it was, he followed the direction of the noise and it happens to be Eva's room. He wondered what happened to her? In order to avoid getting into trouble on the first day of his job, he decided to leave. He doesn't understand why he felt pain when she yelled. What could be the explanation for feeling pain everytime without understanding where it's coming from?

As they passed through a gallery hallway-lined with modern art that probably cost more than his old neighborhood-Jesse stopped in front of a sculpture that looked like two twisted metal hearts. "What's this one called?" "'Affection Fatigue,'" Alina said dryly. "By a French artist who only works during breakups." "Cheerful." She shot him a look. "You'll get used to it. Come on."

Overwhelmed with fear, she clasped her hands over her ears and shut her eyes tightly, anticipating an imminent tragedy. In that moment, she believed it was her last day in this world, facing an inevitable and untimely demise.
