Berfoment emerged from the forge with a massive Greatsword with strange runic markings etched into the body of the blade. Aisha noticed that the sword emits a powerful life aura as if the blade itself was alive while Yuuno stated the blade generated spiritual energy if given a chance Berfomet’s sword could easily destroy any spirit it might come into contact. “With this, we now have a proper weapon. I held my hand out for the other. He hesitated. I wiggled my fingers at him to give it over. He stared me down. I didn't flinch. I could feel the sword in his hands. I pushed the blade straight into his heart, warmth flooded by my hand, a sticky, intimate proof that this was real. My heart was still burning with hot fire, wishing for kaius and luna Victoria because I knew they were behind this. I wish for more. I never wanted to return back that night until my heart was cooled. We looked around, searching for who was willing to fight but no one showed up.

With my one free hand, I quickly dialed a number on my phone. Before long, someone in a white coat appeared at the end of the hall. "Christopher Morris? He has a history of heart disease, right?" the doctor asked as he led us down the VIP corridor. Selena nodded quickly. "So, is it a relapse of his heart condition?" The doctor shook their head. "No, he got kicked in the chest during a fight." Selena had mentioned her brother before. From her words, I could tell he was a good man.

There's this irritation that doesn't sound like it's out of jealousy but out of pain. "What the hell did you put on the blade?" I ask her,also surprised that she's not affected by the gunshot as she should be. I force myself to sit up, resting my back on a rock closeby. I look around, peering through the darkness that slowly begins to cloud my eyes. My hands are holding the dagger but they don't dare take it out. I'm taking slow breaths, trying not to put too much pressure on my lungs. The burn in my heart dies down to the barest minimum but it's not enough to make me feel better.

"Ryan, you shattered my life, and you still think you can just walk away? Someone like you is a waste of air. You would be better off dead." The knife in my hand flashed under the sunlight. I ached to plunge it straight into his chest. At the final moment, a strong hand clamped around my wrist and stopped me. My father had arrived. His usually expressionless face was filled with panic. "Thank God I made it in time. Do you even know what you are doing? Are you going to destroy the rest of your life for him?" Ryan felt the killing intent in me. He had not expected to survive. He collapsed onto the ground, gasping for breath, all dignity gone.

They were moving like eyes. A low-frequency hum vibrated through the foundations of the tower. It was a sound he knew. A rhythm that belonged to a heart that should have been ash. "Aradaa? What is it?" Kaerith stood behind him, clutching the baby. "It’s a heartbeat," Aradaa said. He reached down and picked up the old iron sword leaning against the railing. The blade was notched, rusted, and ugly. "But it’s wrong. It’s distorted."

Inside the yacht, Celine instructed one of his men to stab Danielle to her heart. “ No! Please! Don’t!” Danielle cried out loud. Begging for mercy. “ Celine, have mercy on me.” “ No way! Today is the day that you'll die in front of me!” Celine laughed like crazy. The bad guy approached Danielle with a sharp knife and stab her exactly in the heart. Blood scattered around the floor as Danielle was being stabbed several times. Her scream for help was in vain. She fainted after losing a lot of blood. “ What shall we do now, Miss?” Her men asked with blood stains on his body.

Nizhoni walked up behind Sebastian and knelt down sometime later. Smiling, she hugged him, kissed him on the cheek and said, “Hey, babe, how’s it going?” She was referring to the two-thousand piece puzzle he and Jaxsen were putting together. The puzzle was of a fire breathing dragon flying around a burning castle, a mage standing in the forefront, arms outstretched as if conducting the mayhem from afar. It was a gift from Rose.

Violet said as she cried, covering her mouth with both hands. Fredrick looked into Lucian's eyes, grateful for giving him such a quick death. He was in so much pain he couldn't take it anymore. Fredrick realized Lucian had fallen in love with Violet and it made him feel relieved that Violet would be safe in Lucian's protection. But Violet didn't realize that. In Violet's eyes, Lucian was a cold-blooded killer who had killed those she cared about. Lucian pulled the sword from Fredrick's heart when he was dead and gave it to his soldier while saying, “Take her now.”
