Bound and Broken: A Life Given, A Heart Shattered

Bound and Broken: A Life Given, A Heart Shattered

" Queenie took another swig, her eyes red with tears. "It's because I'm lonely, Niels. I'm so lonely. Everyone thinks I'm a sinner. Your mother and Leroy refuse to see me. I think of you every time I return to that house, and my heart aches so much!" Queenie pounded her chest in despair as tears streamed down her face. The old me wouldn't have been able to bear watching her and would have taken her into my arms. But now, my expression was cold and indifferent. Queenie had always loved only herself; her so-called sincerity and love were utterly worthless.

Billion-Dollar Heartbreak

Billion-Dollar Heartbreak

Selina greeted him with a bright smile, her cheeks slightly flushed from her hurry. Fernando suddenly remembered a line of poetry his English teacher had once taught him: "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." He hadn't understood the meaning before, but now, looking at Selina without makeup yet more eye-catching than the vibrant roses in the table's vase, he suddenly grasped its meaning. How blind must David have been to hurt someone so beautiful? "What are you thinking about?" Seeing Fernando staring at her yet lost in thought, Selina couldn't help but wave her hand in front of his face.

The Breaking Point of Love

The Breaking Point of Love

Upon hearing what Jordyn had just said, Wynn stilled for a moment as a subtle smile played on her lips. The beginner and advanced editions of this book had the same cover. Wynn was reading the advanced edition. She hadn't even encountered this sort of detailed content during her PhD, let alone in her undergrad. She had been reading a lot lately, and since Linda visited the Lockets almost every day, she knew the book had both a beginner and advanced version. At Jordyn's words, she figured Celeste was definitely reading the beginner's version. She almost burst into laughter. However, since Trevor and Beck were there, she held it back.

I just want to know what would happen between Trevor and the Lockets, is he going to break up with the dumb ass Wynn??? Last time when I checked she asked Trevor how Jor was doing. She is got a Nerve to ask about Celeste's child after what her so called friends did to Celeste in that banquet

I wish to have more of Caleb and Celeste communication. Coffee date, accidental grocery shopping run in, etc. We've read so much about Lickets and Shaws. Can Celeste's family have decent amount of chapters too? I don't think the author is seeing readers' comments

THE TYRANT'S BABY

THE TYRANT'S BABY

How could everything be taken away from me just when I finally felt whole? A broken wail escaped Amaris as she clutched the book to her chest, her body curling over it as if she could somehow hold onto the life that had been stolen from her. Her sobs grew louder, raw and unrestrained, filling the emptiness of her room with the sound of her heartbreak. Each breath came in jagged gasps, as if the sorrow itself were too heavy to bear, pressing down on her until she could barely breathe.

Alpha's Regret After I Died

Alpha's Regret After I Died

Even though I had rejected him, the pain was still there. Tears blurred my vision, but I never looked away. Because I had to see it, I had to see him fail me one last time. This was the man I once loved. And he let her crawl into the place where I used to sleep. He let her in like I had never existed. My chest cracked. My lungs burned. My soul screamed. But he never heard me, not now, not ever. This wasn’t heartbreak. Heartbreak is soft and Quiet. It whispers as it breaks. It lets you cry and crawl into blankets and pretend tomorrow won’t hurt as much.

The author is definitely talented and the story is really interesting and intense. Definitely a page turner and unique plot. That being said, I just would like to not have to pay for full chapters where the internal monologue keeps repeating itself. It was frustrating and made me skip some chapters.

I starten reading yesterday i'm at chapter 16 now. But just like Presh_ shuga.7 says : i would also like it if it would updated often, and also not over streched. There are 4 books you're writting now that are still ongoing. I've seen ongoing books streched out 400-1200 chapters !!!

From Postpartum to Heartache

From Postpartum to Heartache

" I thought I had prepared myself to face these emotions. But as I spoke, the tears still betrayed me and fell uncontrollably. "Daryl, all that talk about loving me—it wasn't love. You're just unwilling to let go of me because of my status now. You don't love me—you only love yourself." The pain in my chest was unbearable. My voice cracked, and a hollow rasp echoed through my words. The emotional strain felt like a constant, gnawing ache. When I thought of the love I had wasted on him, my heart felt like it was being torn apart. Daryl finally looked up and said hoarsely, "Natalie, I'm so sorry. Madison was just a mistake—a naive folly from my youth. I know now who I really love. Please, give

Ashes of a Bloomed Heart

Ashes of a Bloomed Heart

As soon as Mom heard what I said, she quickly snatched the phone from Dad and asked, "Avril, you've always loved kids. What happened today?" Mom knew I always donated books and toys to the orphanage every year. It was obvious that I adored children. Then, Mom said to me in a low voice, "That Mr. Walker is known to be injured from the waist down. He might be impotent. "All these years, not a single young woman was willing to marry him! Besides, Mr. Walker did propose to you several times. You kept refusing him, didn't you?"

A Heart Shattered by Love

A Heart Shattered by Love

I couldn't find a single word to say. Hearing my quiet sobs, Diego's tone softened. "Hey, why are you crying? The principal position is gone, but there's still a place for you here. Just come back." Listening to his reassurance, my tears flowed even harder. Five years ago, I played Chopin's "The Farewell Waltz" in this piano shop. I never imagined that the sadness in the music would someday mirror my heartbreak, as if everything had been destined. Just then, my phone buzzed with a text from my lawyer. "Ms. Tucker, your divorce documents are ready and have been sent to your email. Please check them at your convenience."

Blackmailing The Bad Boy

Blackmailing The Bad Boy

C H A P T E R 2 : A S H E R W O R L D C R U M B L E S You do not know what heartbreak is until you look at yourself in the mirror with tears welling up in your eyes, seeing your reflection as a disappointment because they left you for things they thought were worth it. Trust me there is nothing beautiful about aching from the insides. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Of Beasts and Heartbreak

Of Beasts and Heartbreak

I made a supreme effort, telling him, “I’ll live.” “The Moon Goddess isn’t done with you yet, sweetheart. Who knows, you may find your own fated mate at the North Shore pack ball. Wouldn’t that be something?” I couldn’t answer. The ‘Remus’ effect got me every time, heightening my senses like a blindfold. For our final fling he gagged me, so I knew kissing was out. Was he feeling it, too, the sense of separation? In my case, of desolation. Tears dripped off my chin as he entered me and I pulled against my restraints, going through the motions now. Even though he was tender with me afterwards, it felt like my heart was breaking all over again.
