She didn’t listen to me, she stayed with him.” Hunter pauses and looks at Sadie laying on a mattress he found in the Cabin he bought under a different name. He starts pacing again. “She didn’t leave him. he survived he survived the fire. I made sure he wouldn’t, and he still did. I thought they were done but she went to see him and spent time with him even though he didn’t remember her. why would she want to be with him when she can be with me. we’re meant for each other. She can’t be with him; she needs to be with me. I love her. He doesn’t love her like I do.

Hunter yelled, seeing me on the floor and Drystan leaning over me. "No!" I screamed as my bodyguard lurched at Drystan, but it was too late. Drystan was faster. The dark smoke wrapped around Hunter, and a second later, he fell to the ground, lifeless. I stopped breathing. My eyes drifted to Drystan's hand; it was soaked in blood. Then he smashed something he held in his hand, and I realized it was Hunter's heart…

Davina clutched a stuffed animal, curled up among my siblings, who had died trying to protect her. In my final breath, amidst excruciating pain, I lay on my back, staring at the sky. A flash illuminated the darkest night of my life. Through tears, I roared ferociously, unleashing all my pain, fury, and hatred coursing through my veins. Hunter approached, looking down at me with a diabolical grin on his fanged face. “I’ll see you in hell, child!” Hunter snarled, driving his claws into my chest and ripping out my heart.

A version of *me* with stormlit irises and a smile that drips venom. The Hunter fights beside me, his movements desperate. "They're probes-testing your weaknesses!" My doppelgänger lunges, static clashing with static. "You're a relic," she hisses. "Let me replace you." I drive a shard of starlight into her chest. She dissolves, whispering, *"He's already mine."* Eden watches from a rooftop, his grin widening. --- **The Fractured Heart** The Hunter drags me into an alley, his breath ragged. "We need to destabilize him. Find what's left of the boy."

He then screamed back at me, “Freya, why are you not helping me? We need to get them out!” I sipped my beer and watched as the hunter in cell three was charging towards Finnley. I could have warned him, but he needed to realize, we couldn't just let these deranged hybrids out. He screwed his face up at me, clearly not happy with my lack of concern. He turned back around to face cell three, and as he did, the hunter had half shifted and then ran headfirst into the cell wall. Finnley startled, and then as he jumped backwards, he slipped and fell onto the floor.

I nodded to Xavier, he had every right to hate me, and if that made him feel better, then I would take it. I closed my eyes as he raised the knife and waited for him to plunge it deep into my chest.
