She nods and ducks back in only to come out seconds later. "What is it?" She asks as she swipes a piece of hair behind her ear. "This is from Hunter." I reveal the book and look down at it. "His grandmother was a tigress, like you. This is everything she learned and he wants you to have it." I hold the large, leather bound book in between us. She takes it into her hands and flips open to a random page.

I laugh at her before taking a deep breath. “I wish to see Hunter Ysrael of the Cruelcrest Hounds Pack,” I whisper and it seemed like my words were carried by the butterflies into the wind as the wind whistled and rustled through the trees circumvallating us. The next moment I saw the water in the river ripple before my reflection in the water distorts to show Hunter standing in what looks like a mini-library. My heart thuds at the mere sight of him. Realizing how Goddess I miss him so much, and when I saw him in that sexy tight button-up shirt and leather pants I felt myself getting wet.

I walked to the library and sat next to the window, I looked at my project and now I need to find some books. I walked through the bookshelfs and search for the architect section. I'm looking for a watertank and some electric placement book. I looked through every book clearly and oh there it is. I tried to reach it but I can't. It's on the top of the bookshelf, I need to take a ladder. I walked away to grab the ladder. I got back to the architect section again and I put the ladder to reach the book but the book is gone. Suddenly I found the book on the middle shelf, I looked around. I guess someone must have been taking it and put it there.

Lena The musty smell of ancient books and crackling fire enveloped me as I sat across from Hunter in his vast library. I pushed his heavy doors open to see him sitting in his large chair looking thoughtfully as Zekan and Kyan both sat at the centre table. They all looked straight at me as I bounded into the room. “I found this!” I rushed out as I held out the book to Talon. He looked at it as his eyes widened. “The book about the hunters!” He breathed out as he took it from me. Both Kyan and Zekan stood up from their seats in surprise.

She asked, looking to Hunter. He shook his head somberly. “Remember what I told you the other night, Bella. When it comes to the Family—” “There are no coincidences,” Bella finished for him, collapsing back in the chair. “I also found this,” said Hunter, unzipping his jacket to reveal the scarlet book. It really looked more like a journal now that Bella was looking at it closely. He undid a bronze latch that was keeping the leather cover in place. There was no title that she could see, and the first few pages appeared blank save for a rather long handwritten dedication.

Hunter had spent most of the celebration sitting quietly in one corner. A mountain of books surrounded him. His nose remained buried inside an ancient manuscript detailing ley lines. He was so focused that he barely noticed the celebration ending. I watched him scribble another note. Cross out a theory. Open another book. The poor man looked as though he hadn't slept. Finally, after Marcus and Pamela had finished receiving congratulations from everyone, Hunter closed his book with a sigh. He stood. Walked directly toward them. Then smiled. "Congratulations." Marcus hugged him immediately.

Tommy immediately understood the flow of this strange conversation. "Listen, potato woman. In this organization, the entire Hunter is only thirty humans. And you're the 1456th who entered the organization. If only we didn't notice you as The Hunter in your coffee shop, sooner or later, you would be put into small pieces even though your bones can no longer be put together for an autopsy because of the devil's actions." Iris was silent with her mouth slightly open. She was a 1456th Hunter who entered the organization. A number that didn't matter to remember, and Iris immediately touched her forehead.
