Heath Ledger As Joker Quotes Novels & Stories

POV Ace/Bear There was silence after Pres finished reading the letter. No one spoke. No one moved. We barely even breathed. Then Joker doubled over in hysterical laughter. It was jarring to say the least and we all jumped at his reaction. "What the fuck is so funny?" Shooter demanded as his face grew red and angry.

"He might as well be dead with what Aurelius has in store for him." “I'm still here ladies. It's rude to talk about me like that.” I teased weakly. I might have passed out again, or maybe not. But when I stared up, the torchlight shifted, casting different shadows. I saw both lackeys; Spear Guy leaning against the doorway, Joker Guy pacing in small circles like a wolf pretending to be bored. I bared my teeth in a half-smile. "You girls haven't touched me yet? And to think I gave you time to take me out."

“That's the part that really gets me. Why would Atlas help someone like you?” “... someone like me, you say?” My voice faltered. “A back stabbing, conniving, fraudulent—” “Jesus Christ, Ledger, I get it. I may have made many terrible mistakes in the past, but that does not reduce the person I am.” He shook his head, eyes glassy. “No, it doesn't. But it reduces HIM.” His words stung deep and spread in my lungs like poison. “You are just saying this because you love the man.” He did not hesitate.

"I'm just concerned, you're the only friend I have" He pulled a sober face and then burst into laughter. "You're weird you know that right? You're cringing me out with those eyes" he said and then shook his head. "Joker" I commented, kicking my feet at the edge of the desk. "Believer" he snapped back and I shook my head, laughing with him too but I never meant that. He kept my hope high and he's so unreadable. I was really mad but then I only exhaled softly and gnashed my teeth.

Oh damn, I laugh so hard that my stomach hurts. "Stop it..people are looking at us like we are jokers." I breath out between my laughs . He smirks at me and say smugly. "I can be your joker , you can be my Harley quin" and winking at me. "Ooh...How cheesy. But sorry I am allergic to cheese." I wave my hand off in a dismissing manner. He sighs, heavily before replying. "Way to break a guy's heart" And make a sad face.
