Dean's POV: "Oh my god, this is so unbelievable. I'm dreaming, right? I mean, this is perfect. It's too perfect. I must be dreaming. There's no other way. A pool and gym, seriously? And this bed feels like heaven. Jeez, I probably did have a brain bleeding, and I am now in heaven or something.

The blade comes out of the top of her skull with a sickening crunch. "Fuck," Heavenly chokes out. "Back away from her now!" Her two friends rush forward. The world slows down for me. There is no sound, no time, nothing but a strange anxiety that is released from deep inside of my body. For a millisecond, I feel like my breath is taken away. My heart skips and then all that matters is this.

It feels like she paralyzed. Did she eventually die? Hell should feel hot, but instead she felt the temperature as normal as the temperature in the room. Does God somehow allow her to go to heaven? Heaven with beep-beep sounds? “Kroter! Her thumb twitches!” Is that a greeting from heaven? The voice sounded shocked and, once again, seemed to be in a distant place. “Her eyes, too!” This time another voice sounded happy. So, is Venus fainting? This thought busied Venus's brain, which felt petrified.

The beeping sounds, the human voices, the warmth of a hand clutching mine, the sound of sobbing and sniffling. They were all there. Was that how heaven sounded like? Because it doesn’t sound very happy. I tried to open my eyes but it didn’t work. I tried to move my hands but that didn’t work either. It felt like I was paralyzed. It felt like I was a stray soul dwelling in a dead body.

Kira’s POV My eyes fluttered open and those piercing gray eyes were locked on mine. His mouth was moving, but I couldn’t understand a single word he was saying. Everything sounded distant, muffled…like I was underwater. Am I dreaming? Is this what heaven feels like? Do girls who die get assigned a stupidly handsome man as their guide through Heaven’s gate? If that’s the case… sign me up twice. “I’ve got you, baby,” he whispered, and this time I heard him clearly.
